  1. Just watched the entire doc start to finish! Very interesting, I didn’t quite understand the problems Michael had to contend with. You can very much understand the frustrations of people who have lived their whole lives but the people who bought a house after the festival had been held have a little less to complain albeit it did balloon in size. The culture of the UK is so much better for the fact they didn’t manage to get it cancelled. For that we’re all very lucky.
  2. We’ve camped there the past two years, it’s definitely not completely peaceful but by no means a war zone like other equivalent campsites at other festivals. The location more than makes up for it. The only thing is you need to be in and setup by lunch time on the Wednesday at the latest otherwise you’ll be very cosy with another campsite!
  3. Yes, Ewan McVicar was on after him. Was a great couple of sets.
  4. I’m going to be splitting hairs here I’m sure but in my opinion it is definitely a broad spectrum of people from one side to the other. Saying that, the vast majority of festivals after midnight do cater to dance music. That is surely a case of the clientele available after midnight. Regardless, 2023 was my first Glastonbury and by far the best festival me or any of my friends had been to. We’re now obsessed with it! In the nicest possible way, I’m sure there’s a lot of rose tinted glasses in this forum.
  5. Feels like Ewan Mcvicar has gone under the radar a bit,he was absolutely brilliant on the Glade last year. Will definitely be seeing him on the Nowhere stage. On another point, where the hell is the nowhere stage? This will be my third year and still not managed to make any sense of the SEC. Mainly due to how busy it is.
  6. On this topic… last year I have a very hazy memory of ending up in a bar on the Thursday night. I think it was near the other stage/levels. It was a horseshoe shaped bar with dance floors either side. Any ideas where I was? It was definitely a great time. That much I know.
  7. Praying so! Missed them in 2022 and have regretted it ever since.
