  1. There is a one dayer open air party in North London planned for the 19th August in place of the Warm Up Festival this year. Tickets only £20 and closes at 4am. https://www.instagram.com/p/CurN-e8Maam/?img_index=1
  2. Alkaline Trio played this festival the last time I went (maybe 2014/15), albeit it was a few years ago now. I remember their power cut out towards the end, so the singer just tried to carry on to the front rows whilst everyone else got pissed off because we couldnt hear him. Best moments of that festival for me was getting spangled and trying to make the best of the silent disco.
  3. I didnt go but from what I have seen, the drone/firework display on the Saturday looked amazing.
  4. I really enjoyed it apart from the weather at times. I first went to Noisily at the old location last year and found this new site better in terms of how the stages were laid out. I liked how the layout drew you through the Treehouse stage on way to Noisily stage so you got a bit of a flavour of that even if you were not intending to. There were a few little niggles such as no lighting on way to campervan field and lack of seating but hopefully these minor things can be resolved for next year. I cant comment on the Liquid stage as psytrance tends to bring me out in hives nowadays but I heard complaints that it was smaller this year. The best thing about Noisily is the crowd and they were amazing as usual. Will definitely go again. On a side note, this was my first festival sleeping in a campervan and I will never go back to a tent, so much easier and more luxurious. Edit - I already saw your video this week - great to see, brought back a lot of memories!
  5. He's probably over Bristol now as I type this.
  6. Elton doesn't hang around. I saw him play at my local football stadium and he was taking off in his helicopter from the car park before most people had got out the ground.
  7. Gettin' out of that field is gonna be a long, long time.
  8. And now singer from Phoenix is shaking everyones hand 😆
  9. Jesus Christ, Phoenix look like they are soundchecking in front of a small fan group.
  10. You get the impression that Elton really gets it, the Glastonbury headline slot just needs hit after hit after hit, and for it to be an occasion, and say what you want about him but he does provide that. Elton John will probably be up there with Bowie in terms of Glastonbury legend headliners..
  11. Lol, think I just saw a line of people pissing against the green backdrop 90s style. Bit naughty that..
  12. I'll bet a pound to a penny Elton has seen Brandon's tiny dancer.
  13. I'd probably be at Rudimental right now if I was there, coming up on a pill, plenty of room to dance, energy, good vibes and every other person and his wife is at Elton John.
  14. I must be getting old...all I can think of is looking at that Pyramid crowd for Elton is 'Jesus Christ I would be dying for a pee'
  15. War on Drugs were great. One of the sets I've seen on iplayer that made me wish I was there. Now catching up on Caroline Polachek. Never heard of her before but she has a great voice.
