  1. I can't see them making massive operational changes, early on at least, except perhaps budgets. Most of the potential buyers seem to be investment companies (much like the current arrangement). If it's the media co, however, I guess there might be more scope for change happening.
  2. Seems like there's been a significant growth in the one-day solo headline events this year. I guess this may impact on available bookings for festivals, and the shape of the overall sector going forwards, if it continues. Also, as someone has posted on the Tramlines thread, Superstruct is up for sale this month. Given they own several mid-sized UK festivals, and many others in Europe and further afield, this also might have a big impact on what happens next.
  3. All but one of the suggested buyers are 'asset management' investment companies (I.e. not dissimilar to current co-owners). The other is a media company with stakes in Conde Nast, Warner Discovery and Reddit.
  4. It was also suggested last year. They've got themselves into position again to make it work, but is it about building from a solid base, or cutting losses, I wonder. Tramlines has recently secured Hillsborough for a further 5 years, which hopefully bodes well.
  5. We might finally be getting a Sunday headliner
  6. Still loads of good stuff for the smaller stages too. I'm wondering if they're squeezing in an extra one this year. The site is big enough.
  7. Cheers, it was a lucky one given the level of bouncing going on. Lots of small people down the front too, which is a rarity. I 🖤🤍 Hives fans
  8. The Hives at The Leadmill. The best £20 I've spent in some time!
  9. Already surveying for who people want to see next year. Sadly there was no box to say, give us a bit more variety across the different events so we can choose the one that works best. And/or release headlines at the time tickets go on sale. https://ynotfestival.com/2025-line-up-requests/ - you can win a pair of tickets for next year.
  10. Cheers for that. Confirms what I was already thinking. Tramlines organisers - if you're checking this out, please try not to clash the main comedy act with the main stage special guest. Also, a bit less of a direct clash on main stage and t'other headliners would be good, especially Sunday, ta!
  11. I'm in! Bargain of the year, less than £20. So excited for this - the Leadmill is a perfect venue for the full Hives experience 😁
  12. And the general public agrees... Saturday tickets are still on Tier 1 at only £45. They'll likely be giving them away nearer the time, like they did with Ashcroft last year
  13. The Hives have just announced a last minute gig for the Leadmill on Tues night. Praying to the ticket gods 😂
  14. Maybe, not sure. Future Islands are headlining elsewhere this summer, and the Cribs have not done festival headlines for a while. I guess we'll find out next week.
  15. As it should be. I wonder if they'll headline or sub Future Islands? Probably sub, with Circa Waves 3rd down, but will be epic whatever. The Big Top was brilliant last year, with a similar format
  16. Looking back at last year, we should get the Big Top lineup next week, Dork the following week, then the two DIY stages the week after that.
  17. Main stage lineup. Which means the Big Top is exactly what I wanted! From memory it will be possible to see most of the main stage and big top, with small overlaps.
  18. A couple of minor clashes for me, but nothing disastrous. Will probably see half each of the Charlatans and Paolo, and will skip most of Snow Patrol and Pigeons in favour of Yard Act and Human League. Pleased to see the Mysterines on the Leadmill stage as the timings usually slot between the 2 bigger stages.
  19. Fri/Sun day tickets for Wychwood Festival on Tickets for Good.
  20. I looked at that, and I think that's where the tickets will be delivered - didn't seem to be anything much going on in there when I downloaded it yesterday. The email I got came via the regular Coop app, and asked me to register interest for the ticket sale on 1 April. Previous presales have all been accessed in the regular app. For Android it's here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobile.appWeCS9BXzZa
