Got a market research from Bluedot today asking whether I'd booked or not, what I was looking forward to, etc. Told them I'm waiting for splits to see whether it's worth swapping out my Tramlines ticket. Wonder if they're not selling as many as they hoped, but then what idiot company (SuperStruct) schedules two festivals on the same weekend, just across the Pennines from each other! Not to mention clashing with Latitude. Seems very bad planning.

Although, TBF, glasto trying harder than many others to crack that one

Still looking for something to get excited about tbh. Apart from Blossoms and Sugababes, seen all these several times before, and although they're solid, not what you'd call mind-blowing

Kaisers more likely on Sunday as they have their own gigs on Fri/Sat... Ludlow and Warwick Castles. Maybe Kaisers + Sugababes. Which makes PH and RA for Friday?

Good they're offering the day tickets this week. If lineup is ropey, might pick and chose and flog my weekend ticket, so I can fit something else in

Kaisers got gigs for 21/22, so the only slot they could do is Sunday, which I don't think would be for them.

Large, loyal older audience New album with the Arena tour Cheap - low ticket prices for their gigs I see them as Sunday afternoon/evening act. Looking back to Nile Rogers, a lot of the younger crowd had disappeared by the time he came on.

It's been interesting to see their rise for sure. I photographed them at the Academy back in 2014. Of the 3 acts on the night, I was most impressed with Wolf Alice. Actually, would be very happy to see WA at Tramlines, but don't think they're touring atm.

Would love to see Elbow. Good live act, and fit the Tramlines profile. Also played Jodrell before it became Bluedot, so potentially in the booking pool.

Just thinking of headliners we've not had before. Although given the Kendal lineup it'll likely be same old roster.

Yep, huge amount of churn lately in this group of festivals. Definitely won't be going to Kendal

Do we think Weller is a possibility, given the forest gigs? Or Human League... not the most exciting, but doing the rounds this year

Must be something today, surely! Blue dot (Superstruct) is out, and Kendal tomorrow... If they don't hurry up up, I'm going to swap my Tramlines ticket for Grace Jones and Pavement at Bluedot!
