  1. So about 6 weeks before Glastonbury this year I did a 100km Ultra Marathon (walked it not ran) took me just over 24 hours, very tough but not too bad. Think before/during Elton I was stood for about 4 hours and it felt like my right knee was about to explode at any point, not sure if there is any logic to stood somewhat still being tougher on the joints but it was mind boggling to me that I could do the Ultra but was in genuine physical strain over being stood.
  2. As a Coventry City fan my frustration was the handful of Luton Town fans I bumped into, all great friendly interactions and I of course wished them the best for the season ahead. Every time I think I am beginning to get over that play off final defeat I seemed to bump into one 😂
  3. I swapped from EE to O2 around 3 months ago, couldn't agree more except it also applies to my day to day life not just Glasto - shocking coverage.
  4. So I split mine into 3 you can watch on iPlayer should you wish and 3 you sadly wont be able to Available to watch on iPlayer 1. Elton 2. Foos 3. Third World - was really looking forward to this but was absolutely flawed by the surprise song toward the end, close to tears 4. Teskey Brothers - OK so I did 4 but I love the Teskey Brothers and I hadn't seen them before and they absolutely delivered on the big stage Sadly not able to watch 1. Jake Shears - phenomenal super high energy set and the crowd were matching it was so fun to be at 2. Sam Brookes - bandstand, seen him 3 times just a massive fan of the lyricism 3. Planeta Polar - Lizard stage, not sure how to describe this other than great fun if you were there you'll know what I mean

    Sober times

I can only wholeheartedly agree with regards to a similar sober Glastonbury experience. I gave up around the start of 2020 and thought I may struggle staying into the early hours without alcohol but I was able to stay out as long, if not longer than in 2019 when I was drinking. I didn't actually buy one of the San Miguel 0.0's so didn't experience any of the bar payment issues you refer to. I am however a little surprised that you don't regard Heineken 0.0 is a good option, I personally find it one of the best imitations pilsners (Alongside Bavaria 0.0 & Moretti 0.0) I am relatively new so haven't read back through all pages but I assume people have discussed the best 0.0s on here? (For reference mine would be Guinness 0.0)
  6. I have fairly mild tinnitus in my right ear and have found over the last year or so my hearing has become really sensitive. I saw a thread on here before about hearing protection and someone mentioned the Loop Experience Pro ear protectors, so I ordered them. Honestly I think I drove my friends insane the amount I was talking about them over the festival, one of the best investments I have made and I would never attend a gig/festival without them now.
  7. Had to post as I hadn't seen any love for Craig Charles! Thursday New York Brass Band -> Sam Brookes -> Deptford Northern Soul -> Jack Tyson Charles -> Jonathan Pie -> Craig Charles at Cineramageddon -> Danny Howard Friday Ziggy Marley -> Craig Charles & Friends -> The War & Treaty -> Sigrid -> Sam Fender -> Flying Mojito Bros -> Crazy P (DJ) Saturday Tiffany Calver & Friends -> Holly Humberstone -> Carl Cox & Eric Powell's Mobile Disco FT Incognito -> Haim -> Leon Bridges -> Paul McCartney -> English Disco Lovers -> Steve Davis & Kavus Torabi Sunday Herbie Hancock -> Diana Ross -> Kacey Musgraves -> Gabriels* -> Riz Ahmed -> Pet Shop Boys -> Groove Armada (DJ) *Gabriels may have been 3 tracks I saw I cant quite remember
