What is particularly interesting Suella is the composition of the your new Fareham and Waterlooville Constituency. Portchester Castle (Lib Dem), Portchester Wicor (Lib Dem), Downend and Wallington (Lib Dem), Fareham Town (Lib Dem), Fort Fareham (Lab) , Southwick and Wickham (Lib Dem), Denmead (Lib Dem)...most wards that returned a Tory are in the new Hamble Valley Constituency.

Hopes rise for a ceasefire deal, and then they fall again...sticking point always is Hamas want Israel out of Gaza, Israel want Hamas gone..and on it goes forever and ever,

a deal is there to be done, but the Palestinians won't do one for all of the time that it'll be an acceptance of them losing what they once had, and Israel is never giving up what its got, so things are stuck, it would help if the Palestinians didn't insist on throwing bombs over the fence.

Braverman started her latest leadership bid in the Telegraph and on Laura K.

classic braverman we only need to be more nasty to win the election.

  4. Remember that thing from a few days ago about SNP support falling cos of a non white leader. its just clicked with me what that line is about. It's about delegitimising a labour win in the ge  (they only won cos of the votes of racists voting against sunak.

Next up from the SNP will be something about the English tugging forelocks.

    hopeful it will be soon.

won't be, sunak recently tried threatening Tories with a summer election, its not something they want. i reckon December again as it worked for the Tories last time.

Ipswich is a genuinely impressive story tbf - 22 years since last in the Prem, first back-to-back promotions since Southampton and Norwich did it about 10+ years ago, and they themselves thought that success this year would just be finishing in the top half. Hopefully they won't be held back too much by FFP/PSR and can be competitive next season.

Leeds might well still win the play-offs, though I've noted none of the 4 teams in the play-offs ended the season in sparkling form. But I feel less excited than last year giving us Luton v Coventry and a play-off pair who hadn't been top flight clubs in yonks. This could easily wind up being a Leeds v Southampton play-off final imo.

Birmingham's season has been a proper what the f**k. The own goal of sacking Eustace due to a starstruck new owner wanting to work with Wayne Rooney only for Rooney to be totally hopeless was one thing, but everything after that didn't help.

Shout-out imo has to be for Sheffield Wednesday too. Genuinely looked hopeless at the start of the season, but first-time manager Danny Rohl keeping them when they looked at one point like they might not win at all this season. Good going. Maybe famous Owls Alex Turner and Jarvis Cocker will be pleased.

    Ipswich the tractor kippers.

So, almost done with the counts..but overall picture is devastating for Tories, very good for Labour but losing council seats to independents/Greens over Gaza and other left gripes could lose them a few MPs and also sets up potential  problems in the future, good for Lib Dems revival and also very good for Greens who could win a few MPs.  Only hope for Tories is if they can get back some of the Reform vote and if dislike/distrust of Starmer erodes some of the Labour support, and before the election they claw back some support over an improving economy and a reduction in immigration and/or asylum seekers.

don't think the tories will be winning back any votes, people have had enough

  9. "bodger's badger" could be fun, will probably involve mashed potato.:P

hopefully won't include a meltdown on stage.

Brilliant quote from Andy Burnham's speech...

"We all need to reconnect power with the promotion of the common good rather than what we have seen in recent times: the association of power with corruption and lies.”

This guy really knows his city, and it's musical heritage.

he should nationalise the co-op live arena

I’m very close to the Cambridge (very expensive luxury apartments) now but was born in the Louise Margaret. I haven’t moved far!

me too, said Cambridge cos everyone knows that, the LM is less well known. i'm more Farnborough than a'shot.  my dad was in royal artilery, and settled in Aldershot, after a nine year stint in Germany.

They’re now the biggest party in Bristol city council. Also you’re the only one who really mentions them

but didn't win it, despite all their grandstanding.  not just me, the corbyn backing genius also mentions them repeating their over-hopeful press releases, but doesn't know what the f**k he's talking about, again.

No one ever mention lib dems anymore...but they've done ok in some places too..

they'll start to recover in the south-west around now, will prolly take a few tory seats in the ge.

for someone with an anti flight avatar ... you dont half  complain lots about the Green Party .... since nobody started posting on here . Thought youd be a supporter of strong environmental policy

mostly I'm pointing out that other peoples claims for the greens in Bristol don't stand up.

we don't need a green party , particularly not the detached one we have, when the answers are in personal actions.

  16. No green surge in Bristol where the greens failed to win the city council so doesn't look good for the Bristol central constituency.

Was also thinking that the greens leader doesn't expect the greens to retain Lucas's Brighton seat.if they thought they could win it one of the co- leaders would be standing there.

Tbf it was Man City's owners behind that new Co-Op Live thing that might eventually open someday.

It uses the customer engagement software of a USA sports team from something I saw.

I'll keep flying then, just like your son and you did for decades 🙂

My own flying for pleasure covered less than a decade.

My business flying slightly longer and I ditched a job cos I didn't want to fly.

You need to own your own doings including your liking to invent bullshit, it absolves you of nothing and adds liar to your bad.
