I just strolled over to the weathernet forum to take a look, and it seemed quite positive imo. However I have not a jot of experince in weather forecasting and dont have a scooby about the lingo. This looked good though no?

It seems the ecm is forecasting the sun and heat to last through the week, whilst the gfs is predicting storms to take over. I'm a big ecm fan myself.

Molten lava will fall from the sky on the Wednesday night, but it's ok, because there will be 28K temperatures on Thursday which will cool it right down.

Then it will be dry and 21c for 44 minutes, followed by a foot and a half of snow.

    Finally, drizzle.

Still, good news about the dry 44 minutes

If a single Glastonbury goer decides not to take adequate water protection we WILL all drown.

Get those wellies on your feet, soldier. Job's not done yet.

I will bring them for the sake of not wanting to jinx things.. I can actually fit 2 cans in each boot anyway so it's all good.

Just a reminder to everyone that the WEATHERCOASTER can go down as well as up, and we're a long way out still. 2005's flash flood didn't appear in any forecasts until the Sunday before the festival.

Anyone talking about 'not taking wellies' can do one.

But think of the extra beers I'll be able to pack in my bag..
