What sort of setlist do we think Bjork will play? I'm tempted by this but I don't want to commit if the setlist is likely to just be Utopia in full, I've tried & tried but I can't get into that album.

The orchestral element means she'll hopefully have to tap into her earlier discography. I'm imagining joga and hunter will be on the set as well as Isobel and if we're really lucky (I highly highly doubt it) she'll do it's oh so quiet

  2. I really didnt dig the line up when it was first announced but the more I'm exploring the line up the more I'm falling in love with it. The only issue is how stacked my Saturday is compared to the other two days (especially sunday). Can anyone give me good reccs on who to look out for on Sunday. I'm hoping to see Iggy Pop, Bauhaus, Disclosure, Mavis Staples and Black Country, New Road already.

Not sure they are now other than in wales  the fact they are supporting at a couple of stadiums that hold around 30000 suggests their star has fallen somewhat.

I think they would be a good fit personally with a decent undercard or maybe sharing top billing with stereophonics

I don't know why but whenever I see Manic Street Preachers or Stereophonics on a festival line up it just cheapens it for me. Neither band have been relevant for the past 10 years and from what I've seen at fests or heard from friends they just don't sell anymore. No one is going to see a co-head of those two for £60/70 and go what a must see line up I must buy tickets.

It'd be embarrassing to have bands of that calibre headlining alongside Tame Impala (Recent Coachella headliner), Kraftwerk (One of the most respected electronic acts and even 40 years after their heyday a huge draw and respectable booking) and Massive Attack (a hugely influential band who helped shape the music of the past 30 years). All Points East regardless of whether they always hit have tried to encourage new headliners or aim to get the best in the business. Not has beens who for me scream dying festival.

I think APE have messed up in leaving everything so late this year. I don't see what ace card they have up their sleeve unless there are some huge reunions just round the corner but I really hope they do not drop to Stereophonics/Kooks/Manic Street Preachers.

  4. With any luck the new music will either lead to them extending their setlist or getting rid of a few of the weaker Danger Days tracks. Their reunion setlist was perfect however so I'm going to end up being upset whatever happens.

Unless they do what Fall Out Boy did when they returned in '13 and only have the new single and possibly one more included in the set for the actual reunion tour and then properly tour the album next year?
