I tend to go drinking in ald man pubs when I’m in Manchester. Where is he on at again YES? I don’t really like drinking around there as it’s full of annoying little students haha. The Refuge is alright nice food also that’s close by.

I like Pilcrow by Victoria, 33 Oldham street is a nice bar sometimes has decent tunes on middle floor which has an incredible soundsystem.

Cheers I have 2 spare tickets, free to a good home if u fancy this, 2 guys pulled out last minute

Well we’ve just bought Friday tickets. If we decide to go on Saturday as well gonna tout them or something.

Can anyone recommend places to stay in London? We’re probably gonna be just going for pints on Saturday day/night so somewhere decent for that in the summer be handy. Appreciated!

Premier Inn in Dalston was cheap and handy to bars around there and only a few minds on the over ground to Shoreditch

It’s a decent enough space. Didn’t know he was playing when did that happen! Is it in the basement or the pink room? I’ve heard basement is banging but I’ve never been, wasn’t mad on The Pink Room personally thought it was way too narrow and too bright (you need darkness in a nightclub for me).

He's doing 3 shows as part of this documentary he's doing, one in fuse, one in the rex club and one in yes. Tickets are dear but have a mate who's a die hard fan so he talked us all into heading over for it. Looking forward to it. Hoping to also try the white hotel the following night if something good on

  6. Any of the Manchester peeps here able to tell me what yes is like as a venue. Going there for garnier in January and hadn't heard of it up till today! Looks like more of a gig venue than a club?

Have done bpm in Mexico, it was great, its moved now to Costa Rica keeping an eye on it this year to consider maybe going in 2021.

I'm going to try love international this year instead of Glastonbury, have heard really good reports. Kala looks good too but read a few mixed reviews about this year, problems with capacity for the best parties etc.

I've just bought presale tickets for the beat Hotel festival in marrakech in March, it got great writeups last year after the first one and the beat Hotel line ups are Always right up my street.

I'm considering bpm in Portugal in September or dekmantel selectors depending on how love international goes at tisno.

Anywhere u can hire a villa with ur mates always ends up the best in my opinion.

Having done a good bit of research last night on kala I'm now set on going to it this year, it sounds amazing, and the problems they had with some of the party cancellations appear to be down to a 3rd party company rather than the actual organisers, so they seem confident of avoiding that happening Again. Seems to have a good ethos of community engagement too.

    Cheers for the detailed response!

Ideally i'm looking for one in a slightly warmer, more picturesque setting (thinking the balkans) with less emphasis on large main stages, and more of a focus on a smaller intimate vibe....

Bizarre love triangle described as 80s boyband...? Stop the world I want to get off lol

  10. Watching nu Guinea from dekmantel now... Good vibes!

Gonna have to have to have a serious think about what festival to do next year. Wish they were spread out a bit more so I could fit a couple in.

Glastonbury, worldwide festival, love international, dekmantel, and Houghton all in the running. Keeping an eye on the first We out here festival too

Andrew weatheralls covenanza festival in carcassonne is in mid - late Sept, its meant to be great, and I've also looked at nova batida in Lisbon in mid Sept,it's got a great line up and Lisbon looks like a great city

See the Pyramid Thread stage re people coming to the back of a crowd and just stopping.

I'm gonna bet it was more or lese the same for the Foals.

Unfortunately it was rammed right back to the ribbon tower, I had to go right the way round the fence to get back to were my group were, just about 10 m towards the stage from where that photo above is taken, after going to the bogs about 10 mins before they came on

here is also an incredible line-up for the Homobloc Festival - one for all you NYC Downlow fans, which is happening in Manchester in November - the 9th. And Sama' has created a quality essential mix, techno but a journey to the core of it, rather than a banging it out from the off. Links below:

I'm considering this, seen it yday. Haven't been to Manchester in a few years. Last time was the whp when it was under picadilly. Most of my mainland raving is done in London now as have alot of friends there. What's this venue like?

  16. Was thinking that they couldve booked the flight for literally an hour before take off, if they were in the airport, jumped on, then by the time anyone noticed they're already at their destination.
