Yes pretty much, although not pitches in the sense of pre laid out areas. Just allocated one by one based on how much space each van needs. You'll be one of hundreds if not thousands of campervans, motorhomes and caravans.

Just be nice to the stewards when you get there and they'll give you what you need. They guide you to your pitch and make sure you've got space on the correct side, but remember they're mainly kids and they're not there to police you, they can be persuaded to give you a little more room if you need it

Updated clashfinder to show bbc introducing. I've combined it with lavish lounge as I believe they will be the same location (they always have been)

Updated, although there seem to be a few mistakes on the app with a few 5 minute sets thrown in at odd times which I've left out, so if it's comedy you're after I'd maybe have a better look on the day.

I know a lot of people had complaints about 2022 but that wasn't my experience - I even made it into the Temple twice without queueing at all, so not sure if it's just a reversal of fortune but in reality I don't think they quite did as well in spreading the crowd out as they have done in previous years. I think they also need to find a way to extend to Silver Hayes license to 4am - at 3am (or even 2.30 on Sunday), people will still trek to the SE corner for another 2 hours of dancing, but if it finishes at 4 it's a bit of a mission that might only gain you an extra hour.
3) Lizzo/Maneskin and GNR/Leftfield clashes. I know clashes are part and parcel of Glasto, but that doesn't stop me getting frustrated at them!
4) Getting stomach ache at around 6pm on Friday and Saturday. Nothing kills my mood faster!
In any case, was still a fantastic time, can't really complain!
Not a criticism of your post at all, but it's interesting that people (lots of them) complain about both overcrowding AND clashes. Imagine what would happen if there were no clashes to split the crowd?

You shouldn't have any issues, although I've not arrived on Friday before, but last year we towed a caravan and found it very easy as we were put right near to the exit. There is so much space for vans, I'm sure you'll be fine

I've only seen it rain heavily once there and it wasn't a problem at all. In the woods you barely even know it's raining, and elsewhere the ground stays pretty firm

No, as odd as it sounds it's a garden shed which acts as a DJ booth, and people just gather outside it. I think I saw Tim Key DJ there a few years ago.
