I told two colleagues yesterday that a heatwave was on the way tot he UK. I couldn't believe they didn't know. Then realised not everyone has been checking the forecast 45 times a day for the last month.
I wish this wasn't true but its pretty accurate

Thanks everyone, that’s all very helpful and much appreciated. My friend is in pieces, as you can imagine. Willing to try anything to get this sorted.
if you still cant find it, bring as much evidence as possible to support your claim, be super nice, and cry if needed!

Maybe you could try the vegan cheese truck?
You might be pleasantly surprised

Very sad. Lots of old favourites not here, and the hipster London-prices replacements just don’t do it for me
I feel the need to defend London here (as a Londoner) - but I just cant. the food is good but the prices you basically have to ignore unless you want to spend the rest of the day feeling guilty! (however do go and find Burger Bear which is fantastic!)

No (thank goodness by the sounds of it!). But if I were a thief I'd grab you bag and be off, no matter what the stench!
Anyways, let's hope this conversation is just academic and that your tent will remain free for just you and your beautiful guffs ♥️ ?
Fingers crossed - still amazes me that these fuckers exist in this day and age and totally opposite to the spirit of the festival! may they all be caught/hung/drawn/quartered!

seetickets sent this with the coach ticket - "PLEASE DO NOT BRING AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF LUGGAGE ON THE COACH - We would advise to bring one large bag/rucksack and one tent/sleeping bag per person, plus one piece of hand luggage. Trolleys or Wheelbarrows are not permitted. Remember there are lots of other passengers on the coach and we cannot be held responsible if your luggage will not fit on the coach."

Possibly! Although I don't even think someones horrible stinky arse will put them off while their thieving lust is up.
you've clearly never been in my tent after a beery night!

Thing is, especially over the Wednesday and Thursday nights, people are either totally hammered and out of it or just very tired from their journey to their camp and general late night shenanigans. Which can lead to very deep sleeps.
This is exactly what the theives are banking on and is how they get away with it.
I tend to fart a lot in my tent - its a good tactic to stop the thieves, just keep in airtight so when they try and get it, instant KO

Less jamming out on bongos and more ket heads smashing bins at boomtown.
I felt bad for all the stewards and security trying to stop people dragging all the bins up into the woods.
I was camped next to the woods so I had it going all night like a broken washing machine banging around - still fun in its own weird way though!
-
im so so lazy but after reading this its sods law my tent will get robbed if I don't use them!
-
oh man sorry to hear this! hope theyre not too broken!

I've spent an entire month worried about camping in slurry. Now it's upon us and it turns out I'm going to burn to death at the hottest glastonbury on record.
this tickled me - im ready to burn

on this note - has anyone been to the sunday night drumming session at boomtown in the woods? probably the opposite vibe to what is described above, and will send you absolutely insane within about an hour - no coordination whatsoever!
