Mate, if you don't get a ticket, it doesn't matter. Just bunk in, its easy enough to do.

I have never so much as even registered for tickets, yet gone for the last 4 years it has been on. October, or whenever it is the tickets go on sale, is far too early to be getting organised to get a ticket. Besides, breaking in is often far cheaper.

    *Yawn*

There are so many ways of wasting time on the internet. Don't you feel like diversifying your life a bit? Why not do something else than trolling this forum? There's even porn for free out there! Go! Go! Go!

    no no no.

Chris has his own personal access tunnel, built by the Eavii to ensure Chris can always get to the stage.

Even if there's only cows to perform to.

I heard the queue to go in was insane on the tunnel this year. Apparently the Chemical Brothers got a lot of glass confiscated and Fatboy Slim had to present a photo ID and a bunch of other documents because the photo on his ticket is from 2005 and he doesn't look at all like that guy. Chris was upset because he was late for his first guest performance at the Bimble Inn on Wednesday and because his tunnel isn't as exclusive as it used to be.

  3. Bumping this one up so we can update it with new sightings of The Great Generous One.

I saw him at the Pier this time, thanked him, hugged him, got a selfie. Still can't believe how many times I heard him thank everyone around him for coming to his farm. We are not worthy, really. What a guy.

  4. What did you get so right this year that you'd do it again, or so wrong you felt like an idiot and swear you will never do it again?

What I got right was investing on a proper powerbank, taking those electrolyte salts people recommended and getting a massage at the Healing Fields. I hadn't that any of those things before and they made a big positive difference.

Wrong: the backpack+stool combo was in theory a great idea, but I should've tested it a bit more before the festival: it was way too heavy and uncomfortable on the shoulders, I hated it and had to carry it for five days. I'll have to keep researching options because this particular one is a no-go.

  5. Ed O'Brien, Pyramid-Other interstage before The Cure.

Michael Eavis at the pier. I thanked him and asked for a photo, he kept thanking people for coming to his farm, asking questions and being just as great as we feel he is.

And I flew back to Amsterdam on the same flight as Sean Paul's band (didn't see him). Briefly talked to one of the dancers, she asked how much were the tickets and what was included on the price, etc.

  6. I spent most of my time on the different viewing platforms and cried every single time I saw the sign language interpreters.  The way they transmit the intensity and emotion of the songs really got to me and I couldn't hold it together every time I looked at them instead of the stage.
They enhanced the sounds I'm fortunate to hear, and knowing people on the Deaf Zone were able to enjoy the songs just as much as I did made me happy.

This happens every year at pretty much every festival but who do you think could have done with a bump, moved around a particular clash. Who suffered due to their stage/set time.

Can do the more positive acts they got spot on as well but couldn't think of a way to incorporate it in thread title.

Fatboy Slim at The Glade was pretty ridiculous. Had a peak, saw how rammed it was then done one. It messed up the flow of the Other/Left field area and that portion of the track as well making it a nightmare to get anywhere.

Didn't bother with Gerry Cinnamon because I knew it would be ridiculous on John Peel and so I heard this was a correct assumption. Seems an odd choice as their was plenty acts on Saturday on the Other that would have been better suited to John Peel and the crowd would have been better for both.

Similarly heard The Streets should have been bumped to Other at least as well.

Elvana at William's Green. I think the festival really underestimated how popular these guys would be and some of us ended up so far away from the tent that we were singing along to the crowd rather than the band. I couldn't even catch a glimpse of Elvis Cobain.

And Lauryn Hill, any stage after 1998.

Morning all. Rain overnight but it has only affected the top inch of the ground. Rain now stopped and it's brightening up.

    Nothing to worry about.

    One more sleep to go.

It's going to be the best one yet :)

Sorry about the poor framing of the vid.

Thank you for that @Sawdusty Surfer! And 'hello!" to the lovely person with the hat appearing on one of the windows ?

It appears you use Twitter itself, as long as you're not on 3, O2 or EE.

    I'd use Zapier.

Unfortunately, Zapier only works for US and UK numbers. The rest of us need to use Twilio, and for some reason it just doesn't work for me (Dutch number)
