If we’re getting some new headliners, here are some artists/bands that could headline (or sub) PS22, all of them with a recent or upcoming album:

Lana Del Rey – Nine Inch Nails – Fiona Apple - Rosalia – St. Vincent – Cardi B - Kendrick Lamar – Lizzo – My Bloody Valentine – Megan Thee Stallion – SZA – Nick Cave – Missy Elliott – Haim – Lorde – Arcade Fire – Frank Ocean – The Cure – The War on Drugs  - Kacey Musgraves

It's so optimistic to say Frankie has an upcoming album. It's objectively true, yeah, but damn he's as silent as a grave.

Megan is too small to headline imo, but solid guesses overall

But the situation right now is irrelevant for the festival season isn’t it. Things will pick up after februari in terms of vaccinations.

I wouldn't say irrelevant. We can only hope. The vaccinations might turn up to be not effective to some mutations. Festivals' summer (and normal life in general) still very much depends on people's willingness to follow instructions.

Here in Israel over 1.6 million people (approximatly 1/6 of the population) were vaccinated by now. Considering we had around 0.5 mil of recoverd COVID cases, it should sum to around 2 million people "on the safe side" (more than 1/5 of the population). I received the first shot days ago.

Still, it takes time for these numbers to make a change. We're still in a lockdown and daily numbers are crazy, around 8k diagnosed every day.

    We can only hope.

I know, that's where the idea came from. 🙂

I really hope Werchter reconsiders her position at Boutique and brings her to the 'real' Werchter when touring again in 2022. These two new albums should give them the opportunity for it.

IDK, it would be a weird booking. As P!nk (the only "pop girl" headliner I can recall from recent years) is a more lively, "Rock N Roll"er kind of performer, she made some sense for RW. I just don't see Taylors mostly-Max-Martin-productions-kind-of-headlining-set fitting the RW atmosphere.

Wed: Billie Eilish - Kendrick Lamar
    Thursday: Pixies - Pearl Jam
Friday: Tame Impala - The Strokes
Saturday: Twenty One Pilots - Gorillaz
Sunday: Royal Blood - Red Hot Chili Peppers

    Sunds good to me!!!

I'd repurchase my ticket in a heartbeat (tho I did get to see 7 of those 10 on stage already. All were incredible)

It's funny to read that Werchter cannot bring back Kendrick Lamar next year because Live Nation chose to place Gorillaz in Werchter instead of Pukkelpop, and they cannot settle Kendrick, Gorillaz and TOP at the same day because none of them wants to be third down on the bill.

Now Werchter has no Kendrick and Pukkelpop has no Gorillaz. Brilliant.

Was it likely tho? Has Damon ever performed at Pukkelpop? He performed at Werchter as Gorillaz, Blur, TGTBTQ and as a "solo act".

    Hi Everyone,

Has anyone successfully received a refund?

I applied for one at the end of last week as the 4 of us who were due to go this year all have pretty specific reasons why we cannot go in 2021.

I just got an email from Allianz confirming they are refunding me €11.80 (presumably some sort of insurance i got at the time of booking tickets) but nothing from Ticketmaster.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience?

I received a full refund from Ticketmaster via PayPal.

Was going to ask if anybody has got anything now we are a week on. Can I ask what 'evidence' you had to give? As the whole living abroad thing wasn't clear I just attached my tickets as I thought from the order number they could tell that I'm in the UK from the billing address etc.

I've not heard anything from them at all. Not even a confirmation that they received my request.

I suddenly remembered that I did receive an email immediately after filling my application, confirming they received my request. Check your inbox again, otherwise you should fill it once more.

I stated that I live abroad with no intentions or means to visit Belgium anytime soon. I also wrote that I am a student and will have to take exams during this week of July on both 21/22. I did provide a confirmation of studies from my university but not sure if it's a must.

Never got any written answer, only the PayPal mail about the refund.

not sure about gorillaz as they've been there soon, but tame impala should be there to be honest. it all depends if the other headliners come back (the strokes and FNM probably, there is some doubt on kendrick, SOAD and pearl jam)

Gorillaz headlined in 2018 just like Pearl Jam did. SOAD headlined just a year before that. I wouldn't say that's a main concern. Also, you can see that the PS2021 lineup is quite a mash-up of their 2019&2020 editions.

Strokes is looking quite certain. I believe Kendrick will return too, looks like TDE are planning a massive release for their main artists this/next year. Tame Impala seems like a plausible option as he was rumored for 2020/2021. I've seen Kevin play live 2 times before. Can't wait for a third time.

The thing is RW will want to be MASSIVE. Considering their 2020 lineup they're off to a great start.

  10. Can we assume that the lineup order cited on the RW website is reflecting the order of shows? I mean, if on Saturday we have Kendrick first, then 21p, FNM and then Anderson, does that mean that Anderson will perform and then FNM, 21p and Kendrick?

  11. An important question:

I wondered how early can I book a flight back. I can leave as early as needed on Monday the 6th of July.

How early do they start running the shuttle and how long does it take to get from the RW area to the Brussles airport?

Only wants to headline... Was on their wishlist though, but the big Barn was not fitting his ambitions.

Alright... sucks, I guess. As DTRH and RW share so much already I don't really see many other artists I'd like to add to RW.

Do you still think that Tame Impala is highly unlikely for Friday?

  13. 14 minutes ago, Ken19 said:

We will have about 15/17 more names for RW.

There are a lot of potential artists on DTRH. But not all of them are for RW. Hot Chip for example, will play elsewhere.

Cage the elephant, maybe?! Heard they gave a great show in RW17.

Also, is Tyler the creator an option? I guess he's free on Thursday, but then it will be 4 nights in a row for him.

    Or Oscar and the wolf

Edit: nevermind i'm stupid, he was there last year

No, he was not. 2017 was the last time Max attended RW. I think he is freakishly good, already seen him 3 times live. But it seems like he's mainly working on his album now. He only had a few concerts in the last months of 2019 and he has no dates for 2020.

EDIT: Oh, you weren't talking about RW. my bad.
