    My Dads never listened to anything without guitars in his life, and as much I love the bulk of his taste, GKMC/TPAB is the first non rock thing that I got through to him with, and sing about me was the breakthrough song 

    edit: KK/alright/SP are pretty easy to listen to I guess, probably why they’re so popular

    Just quickly from any of you old farts struggling with Kendrick, I’d highly recommend Sing About me, I’m dying of thirst as it pretty much sums up everything I love about Kendrick on record.

    This is completely irrelevant, people don’t go to see music just because you have things in common with it. You also don’t have to be a black American to agree with Kendricks messages and views.

    On a real though, I can’t mentally rule out oasis yet, you have to imagine they’d demand a big fee and there would be difficulties negotiating, Noels around at the time (albeit playing a solo show) and Liam has said he’ll be there but left it very dubious as to in what exact way, and I’m not an idiot and I know it’s realistically not gonna happen but until they are actually ruled out I’m gonna have hope, would also fit with the pyramid expansion as surely 99% of people would be there no matter what else was on.

    triangle shape = album cover for Doolittle, which also has a big number 6 up the front

    planet = bossanova album cover

    Actually I’m kinda stuck there but I’d be v surprised if it wasn’t pixies related in some way
