There will be other stages with other acts.
Im talking about the amount of other potential headliners being overlooked if she was booked

What is it about Taylor Swift that people don't like? I want to ask a genuine question here, because personally to me her music is very upbeat which I like. would like to hear other people's thoughts.
For me, unoriginal, repetitive and dull to listen to, my biggest issue with her headlining though would be the amount of other acts being overlooked

Let’s get back to headliner discussion eh?

Persoanlly don't see BMTH not being one of the headliners

The Ostrich Burger place was decent

If he was invited to fill out the tents, then by that logic, Pewdiepie's gonna headline next year?
Slipknot, Pewdiepie and BMTH. Heard it here first

Some personal thoughts:
Only my 2nd Reading but So so so much better than last year.
Am 17 but already getting annoyed by 16 yr old GCSE people
in terms of sets:
Becky Hill: Crowd was pretty hot but she was a bit w*nk
Puppy: Great fun, crowd was small as though
Royal Blood: Absolutely fantastic. Keep improving every time I’ve seen them. One of the top few sets for sure.
The Chats: So much fun. Hilarious and have a great stage presence, but also so tight and well rehearsed. Definitely gonna go see them in December. Personally my 2nd fav set.
1975: Never been a fan and only caught about 10/15 mins, but crowd was red hot and the stge set up was awesome
Dave: caught the last half an hour ish, gotta say much better than I expected, felt a bit bad for the Thiago Silva guy his voice was gone
Boston Manor: solid set, good crowd.
Slowthai: was absolutely horrific when I saw him warming up for slaves, threw up on the crowd and all sorts but much better this time
AJ Tracey: got dragged to him by mates, regret agreeing to go. So dull
Billie: again got dragged there, realised she was lip syncing, left pretty quickly. Expect better from such a big name
Of Mice and Men: pretty sick crowd, had a lot more production than I expected too. Good fun.
Octavian: pretty decent all round, absolutely kicked off when skepta came out for bet. Glad I went there instead of TOP who I was told were comfortably the worst of the headliners.
Post: tons better than last year when the sound seemed to fuck up a bit, personally find his music a bit dull but his performance seemed pretty good.
SWMRS: had never seen them before, tons better than I expected.
Shikari: Only caught the main stage slot, they killed it. Nice to see them having a laugh too.
FCATR: Only ever seen them before in Watford where I was a bit underwhelmed but this was 10x better. Def ul there with my fav sets.
ADTR: tbh only went to get a good spot for foos, felt like probably 50% of the front section was the same, maybe why it felt a bit flat.
Foos: Somehow just keep getting better. Always a massive moment for me when I see them, by far my fav set of the weekend, Rick astley moment was class. Also so great to see them take the piss a bit w the oasis stuff and joke around on stage even more than normal, Taylor fake throwing daves DG 335 off stage etc.
Overall had an incredible weekend. Will 100% go again if the lineup is close to how good it was this year.

Might be easier just to tell her to put it on her snapchat story/ instagram or ask people at school. Chances are someone will want it at her school or know someone who does. Leeds ticket won't sell for its actual value on twickets and the toilet pass probably won't have too much value either and its less hassle just selling it to someone she knows. Or university or whatever assuming she's in secondary/college though
This^^ Worked pretty well for some mates of mine, get her to find a friend with a couple thousand followers or whatever and stick it on that persons insta story would be my no. 1 tip

How many more names are we expecting in the next announcement? Wondering if anyone else will fit in on the main stage on Friday but doubt it now. Someone like Yonaka, Tom Grennan or Sam Fender would have been nice
You misspelled Denzel Curry

Everyone throwing around huge names is gonna be gutted when the last two names end up being the first two acts on that no ones really heard of
you're probs right but if one of them is denzel then imma cream my pants.

Agree with foals- could definitely see them returning to headline after their 2 new albums, the first one definitely seems to be a massive hit so far.
Shawn Mendes is way too "pop" for R&L, I really can't see him fitting in with the demographic of people who attend the festival.
Drake I agree could headline, similarly Bastille could definitely get the slot off the back of a new album as they subbed the main stage a couple of year back.
Think Florence & the Machine could definitely headline over the next couple of years, and if Catfish keep growing at the rate they have been, they could definitely be in with a shot of headlining.
As mentioned before, I feel like Chvrches could maybe get a co-headline/headline slot if they release another album. Their new single with Marshmello has massively increased their recognition(their Spotify monthly listeners has jumped to 17.8 million which is huge for them) so I could definitely see them headlining if they keep releasing new singles and maybe push a brand new album.
Although Dua Lipa is quite "pop", she had a huge crowd at last year's festival and actually fit in quite well with the new style of bookings R&L have been heading for recently (IMO), so if she keeps getting bigger and bigger she could definitely be up there to headline in a couple of years time.
Don't even try to analyse JJ please

There are so many other people I’d rather see headline. You could talk about long shots like Led Zep etc All day but for me Kendrick, Macca, FM, 1975, n lots more would be better bookings for the top slot
