I saw him at R&L and it was a really disappointing set compared to the clips of his arena tours. It was as if he had lifted the arena show, shortened it then performed it at a festival. Loads of filler tracks as well. That said, he has so many great live tracks that I'll most likely give him another go.
Reading he was average, his show at the O2 4/5 months before was unreal

Nothing could drag me away besides a full scale Oasis reunion on the other

@C14Sill give Kendrick another whirl
Sing about me, I'm dying of thirst - Everything that I love about him and rap and thats the last time I put that recommendation in this thread I promise

Genuine post... when did Kendrick get so big, like big enough to headline Glastonbury?
Has he headlined Wireless / Lovebox / that scummy fest in Manchester my mate said he saw a real life zombie at during Frank Ocean?
Like I know he is popular, but as a teacher none of the kids talk about him when discussing current music (lads are into grime & drill, lasses into BTS) and again none of my friends who are younger than me are into him either (prefer ketamine and bassline).
I might not listen to the radio much but my other half hasn’t got DAB or an aux input in her car and I never hear him on Radio 1.
Have I just missed out on 5 years of current music trends?
Done RnL 2 years ago, DAMN was HUGE, culturally significant, sold a shit load of records

Mine almost a perfect inverse of this.
Swift - approaching 100% especially on a lazier Sundaymacca - legend will prob go above 75%, but something a bit more ‘party’ night would pull me away
kendrick - don’t see what the fuss is about - 10%
Kendrick - 100% - fucking love him
Macca - 75% - Will be there unless theres someone majorly suited to my taste
Taylor - 40% - Wouldn't take a lot to drag me away but Id enjoy it if i ended up there.

Same. What are people's recommendations of where to jump in?
GKMC & TPAB.

Bunch of Foos dates in Europe for early-mid june, too soon after 2017 to be a contender though surely

Too early to be saying that, I think. Many more acts could come in to play. There's no real reason to think Kendrick Lamar more likely than Post or Drake for instance - apart from 'K E N D R I C K'.
And surely just makes more sense as a Glasto booking than the other two, especially alongside Taylor, drake and homeless drake are both very poppy.
-
They would make so much sense if it wasn't for the being booked three years ago thing, having said that an act could've easily dropped out and they've been brought in as a replacement.

Last album was The Getaway right? Unless there's a release I've missed this year. Not familiar with the track title or lyrics, and can't seem to find them anywhere. Sure you can give me a link or something?
The Getaway wasn't even that bad
*ducks*

She has no reason to lie mate, she hasn’t got to big the festival up, tickets are well and truly sold out. I’m sure she’s said they are bigger than usual. Foals, Biffy, Noel, Royal Blood etc are all standard Other headliners any other year. I think there’s surprises incoming. It’s the biggest / best festival in the world it’s gonna be massive for the 50th anniversary. They’ve already Paul McCartney and Diana Ross. The rest is gonna be as equally off it’s head. Just you wait.
Really hoping you’re right.

Trying so hard to limit the McCartney/Beatles section of my Glasto playlist to 30 songs and it’s very hard

Neil Young > Macca would be the stuff Dads dream of

Watching Jools Holland..... just let Foals headline!
No

I guess the fact that DiRoss is legend slot gives a bit more weight to the 50/50 claim

wow i’ll never forget how bad KoL were in 2018, first ever leeds fest headliner i saw and wow they were appalling
Sunday at Reading they were actually pretty good, its the 2009 Slot that usually gets remembered as the shite one

They would be one where Emily saying the Other Headliners r Pyramid Level is 100% accurate

Cleopatrick out if anyone here knows/cares

What are the chances of Biffy clyro? I keep on seeing glasto quotes with there names attached.
This the latest one
Won’t headline, could maybe fit into the other stage headliners that are bigger then usual category?

A certain lead singer of a certain equine-based band told me last night that 2 of the Other Stage headliners were The 1975 and Dua Lipa, and his band definitely aren't playing
How true is this???
