Did anyone go to this last year? Even without the 3 main headliners, I'm pretty impressed with the lineup they've got so far, especially for such a new event - very interested at potentially heading to this now!
I did, was a good first edition but they got just about every weather you could think of. First day with Vaccines and Two Door was gloriously sunny, the main stage got damaged Day two from high wind but they got it sorted so Noel could still play, and it was raining most of Sunday so I went home early since I live locally. There were obvious teething issues but hopefully they'll go from strength to strength.

I'll believe that list when I ser it on a big yellow poster but it would make next year very tempting for me.

I listened to it (and then properly) for the first time tonight and I think I love them. Seeing that material live would be a right laugh. Looking at the tour they’re doing, they could sub second stage, surely, or play mid main.
I didn't realise they were on album six or seven, then remembered reading about the name change which is why I'd never heard of them before. Plenty to go back and listen to now.
But yes, I've had Tekkno on repeat since I found them, absolutely love it.

Electric Callboy's album might be my new favourite of the year so far, really fun listen.

Wait people still listen to Kasabian?
This is ludicrous question when people are bringing bloody N-Dubz up as a serious suggestion.

Didn't 21P already have two Platinum albums by the time they headlined the tent in 2016? Or am I missing the point? Heathens was hardly a breakout moment for them.

Missed Four Year Strong in there, please bring the Enemy of the World shows over, that alone would probably get me the ticket.
-
Offspring, Bowling for Soup, Creeper, Holding Absence, Billy Talent, Trash Boat all good stuff. Consider me interested.
-
I'd much rather Offspring over Shikari personally.

All Time Low would be uninspired given they only did 2019 but I'd still love it.
-
Yeah it's not a hint they're just getting rid of the old images.

I doubt it'll be today but they might announce the headliner announcement in the next few days.

2023 Survey puts to bed some of the arguments over who will be and wont be headline level:
Headliners - Lana Del Ray, Blink 182, Aitch, Calvin Harris, Doja Cat, Prodigy, Eminem, Killers, Miley Cyrus, 50 cent, Fallout Boy, Frank Ocean, Greenday, Royal Blood, Dua Lipa, Foo Fighters, Harry Styles, Gorrilaz, Paramore, J Cole, Cardi B, Kings of Leon, Imagine Dragons, My Chemical Romance, Metallica, Nicki Minaj, 21 Pilots, Travis Scott, Paolo Nutini, Panic at the Disco, Pulp, RHCP, Drake, Weeknd, Muse, Radiohead, Stormzy, Snoop Dogg, Post Malone, Tyler the Creator, Billie Eilish, SZA, Strokes, Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, Blur, Sam Fender
Non Headliners - 21 Savage, Andy C, Architects, Avril Lavigne, Becky Hill, Bicep, BlackPink, Blossoms, Camelphat, Central Cee, Chase and Status, Chase Atlantic, Declan Mckenna, Dominic Fike, Don Broco, Gerry Cinnemaon, Gunna, Haim, Idles, Inhaler, Jack Harlow, Jamie T, Jamie XX, J-Hope, KSI, LF System, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Lil Nas X, Lorde, Loyle Carner, Machine Gun Kelly, MGMK, Mitski, MK, NDubz, Olivia Rodrigo, Peggy Gou, Phoebe Bridgers, Playboi Carti, QOTSA, Rex Orange County, Slowthai, Kid Laori, Kooks, Libertines, Tom Grennan, Turnstile, Wet Leg, You Me At Six, Young Thug, Yungblud
Edit - from this I'd probably be looking at
Dua Lipa | Royal Blood >> Rex Orange County, You me at Six, Wet Leg, Loyle Carner
Kendrick Lamar | Doja Cat >> 21 Savage, Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, Central Cee
Blink 182 | Paramore >> MGK, Jamie T, Yungblud, Architects
Opens new arguments if anything, no way Paolo Nutini headlines ahead of Yungblud.

Socials have gone black, announcement soon?

MCR on the Froday would be perfect for me, then get BMTH closing the festival. Metallica the other two days or a Knotfest day Thursday and I'd be thrilled.
That all sounds too good though so I'm expecting this to be the year that Alter Bridge get bumped up to headline and SOAD return.

It was Disclosure.

New Panic album is just bad, in my opinion. I forgot the whole album by the time I finished it.

With no Rage at Reading/Leeds this year, does this open up a spot at Download for them next year?
Headliners will already be booked at this point, so doubt they'll magically have Rage if they didn't already.
-
Enemy of the World is my favourite album of theirs and I've played it loads recently, would absolutely love them doing it in full.
-
Yeah I like that. I think they've really recovered well from their rocky start, getting out from that management company has helped a lot.
-
New Architects album due before the Biffy tour, surely getting a good Download spot next year.
-
Broco into Kasabian sounds like a great time.

Solid top two for a stage that.
