  1. Last year it was a tiny stage in Silver Hayes, South East of BBC introducing (where it says 'the reach' on the current map). They had some DJs but also a live show with people dressed as bee's.
  2. Yeah London (key information that....). Ok - so not much point getting there tooo early then. Cheers.
  3. Probably been asked before (so apologies) but its my first time with a Coach Ticket - Leaving at 12 on Wednesday. How early do we need to be there ahead of departure? Do you just turn up and walk on your allocated bus with your Coach Ticket or is there a queuing system etc.
  4. Do you have a link to Pub in the Park?
  5. Got on the first train from Paddington. Everything was fine and really smooth. Left on the dot, no queues, all ok.
  6. https://twitter.com/ellie__g/status/1538867345019613185 In answer to my own question.
  7. We have a cab to Paddington to catch the 7.15am train (which we have tickets for) that should arrive at Paddington around 6.20am. Real nervousness that there will be a mega queue of people and we will miss out on that train. Do we reckon it will just be a complete free for all?
  8. Just had a confirmation from Trainline my 7.15am Train has been cancelled from London Paddington on Wednesday (non-strike date). Tickets valid on other trains and looks like there is now a 7.04. The Trainline app looks to be more up-to-date than GWR so I would check there.
  9. From this BBC article (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61573206) its all the operators below (key two being SWR and GWR which serve Castle Cary). There will also be a walkout on the London Underground on Tuesday 21st. Chiltern Railways Cross Country Trains Greater Anglia LNER East Midlands Railway c2c Great Western Railway Northern Trains South Eastern Railway South Western Railway TransPennine Express Avanti West Coast West Midlands Trains.
  10. Misses the initial Wednesday rush (22nd), but got to assume trains will be in the wrong place from the strike on day before.
  11. Usually drive, but we are getting the first train out from Paddington instead this year (at 7.15 am). From people's experience, do they only let people with a ticket for the 7.15 train get on it? Or is there just a general queue where they shove everyone with a ticket to Castle Cary on the first train available? We will get there early but don't want to be in a situation where people have been camping out all night and end up getting a train later in the day.
