Jamie Xx would be an exceptional addition
theres a prediction thread if you go back to the R&L page, few headliner predictions on there
Rn, I think LG, Dua Lipa, Bring Me, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala and Dave
Maybe but @Dan Wilcox defo does
@Dan Wilcox gave Melvin the idea of 2 main stages

Don’t give me hope mate. The dream headliner for next year. Can see them being thought of as a previous headliner though
It's good to see that people are wanting Foals to play, this wasn't the message I've seen in the last few years on here

I remember at the time thinking it was amazing but that was because I loved them and I was only 13. Their 2018 set was better imo but I can see what you mean now
Is that Disclosure and Twenty One Pilots as the other two then
Disclosure and ToP closed Leeds.

Was watching a Melvin Benn interview and he was asked about why Kendrick and Panic were co headlining.. he said "They arent. Kendrick is the headliner, but panic have a headline status, but they aren't headlining" so could be them
That was one interview, probably looking to much in to it for the case of next years headliners.

BMTH maybe but Wolf Alice headlined the R1 stage so that's what is in reference to
I think that text underneath only follows one rule on how that texts generated surely

I’ve got iPlayer on and Fall Out Boy’s 2016 ‘headline’ set is even worse than I remember at the time. They were awful. The most flat and disinterested headline set I’ve ever seen watching it back now. God knows how desperate they must have been in 2018 to ask them back.
I've gone on the page for the first time this weekend, does this mean headliners across all stages, or is this a hint to next year

Tbf it shouldn’t be that hard to combat make a cut off date for buying tickets make them photo ID and if you are going you have regular tests leading upto and the day before you go all clear tests means rock on and a safe environment is created for the weekend
Whos going to provide all the testing up until the festival? NHS only tests at the moment if you've got symptoms.

Become a social distancing event and all that, pods, seating arrangements all that
No, festivals won't happen if its like that. They won't be able to sell enough tickets to cover the costs

Do you think because of the amount of time they’ve had to come up with a plan B, if this shitty pandemic comes again they’ll go ahead with the festival
Comes again? It's not gone anywhere

So the 2 stage thing is just to split crowds in half, therefore they will probably be running at the same time...
Whats the odds on most of the subs announced for 2020 just being headliners next year?

Nah they were like 3rd down R1 for this year I swear and are shrinking. Would be more like 3pm (well you’d like to think anyway). This new format is going to make the poster look so weak.
———
did tpd tv say they were playing all 5 headliners? As that means BMTH, Weeknd, Catfish, TDCC and Doja Cat? Surely not - just want to check though.
No because Rob posted on twitter asking for Biffy Clyro LG and RATM or something a few hours before
-
I hope the main stages are alternating time slots, like the "fake" poster alluded to

Wait does LG count as one of the 5 new headliners since he hasn’t headlined alone before and 2020 didn’t happen?
he is one of the 6

The Hunna subbing? Really?
Well they would be about 4th down with alternating stages, and if headliners get two hour slots, it'll probably be around 6pm.

Biffy have pretty much announced there own tour now, so thats probably them out the window

Apparently last year over sold, and there was at least 21k people attending the festival

When did this sell out last year?
This year hasn't sold out yet

I think people are forgetting, The Kooks are subbing the cheapest day at Victorious Festival... APE should be aiming higher

The only positive thing to say about that line up is that the Kooks are replying to people's reactions on the APE facebook post and they are taking it all in good humour
Love it

I don't see what all the fuss is about booking the Kooks. APE have booked another headliner who had released their best material years ago. Massive & Kraftwerk are in the same boat other then their work is deemed to be more worthy, credible, arty & groundbreaking but its still just some old bands playing old music. (I like Massive Attack & Kraftwerk by the way) but I don't like music snobbery.
There was probably 5 people wanting The Kooks to start playing music again, and about 1,000 people wanting to here Naive live

Free tickets for that one then

Some of the comments I've seen going around defending him on the basis of being drunk honestly worry me more than the actual incident. He has a tonne of young fans who seem to think that acting like that when you're drunk is okay. I can see him coming back from it but he has to take responsibility because the impression he's giving is harmful as fuck.
This is probably him everytime hes drunk

Citadel not selling out for tame impala is a good indication on their booking power over here
