Agreed, I'm just above the demographic and I don't know anyone who's heard past No One Knows, can't imagine anyone younger listening to them either tbh

If they were on the day with Stormzy then 100%.

This lineup, well the headliners do try and seem to please both markets, but unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of LG or QOTSA, and have been going off Catfish for the last few years.

I think QOTSA, LG, Post Malone and Stormzy are v strong headliners..

AJ Tracey, Lewis Capaldi, Doja Cat and Da Baby will draw big crowds.

I've never heard of Doja Cat, it sounds like that flying cat with rainbows coming out of its bum

... can’t tell if this is sarcasm or what so sorry if this is a big whoosh on my part, but you do realise there are apparently two main stages this year, like for real?

It's sarcasm because of him suggesting it a few years ago (:

If they've only kept one headliner it cant be Gallagher AND Rage. Rage have headlined before too.

Big doubt on that one Dan.

Melvin's interview was all like "its a shame we can't get Rage again bla bla bla bla".... Imagine hes been having everyone on?

  5. Previous years we have struggled because people have the expectation that the headliners for R&L have to have headlined before. For years we have been repeating the same bands over and over. Is this the change that has been needed to push artists over the line?

Tame impala would not be a cheap booking, this new live show looks incredible and with corona brining the European leg of it to a hault before it could get going I see a big year for tame next year

im not sure what a citadel performance in 2018 has to do with it when they have just released a incredible album and upped the show (lights, lasers, production,) massively

Lights and production are fixed costs that would be dispersed across the shows that the artists plays, doesn't mean they would be more expensive because theyve got fancy lights.

I just don't think Tame has the pull over here compared to America.

Citadel shows that Tame isn't as popular over here, atleast in 2018. Yes theres an album out since, which you think is incredible, but does the wider audience think that and has that grabbed a wider following?

My original point was that he isn't a budget option compared to the other acts they're most likely going to book this year. Yes he isn't the most expensive act to book but he isn't a budget option compared to Catfish, Courteeners and BMTH.

Plays the same small festival that Catfish played the year after? I think Tame costs similar to Catfish. I'm not saying I know that, but its the clearest indication that has been brought to this discussion
