  1. Thank you that's great to know 👍👍
  2. Probably a silly question but assume we will get off the coach, enter via gate A get festival wristband then walk through site out gate D to the camping as opposed to getting off the coach then heading to the camping and then in through gate D?

  4. Good stuff 👍 Yeah same my friend jumped at it also. There is just 2 of us, a tent each so worked out 125 each - we are flying over then coach down. Haven't been in 7 years - can't wait 🙌
  5. We went for it also as arriving later on the Wednesday, it seemed decent value for the pitch and extra bit of comfort. It seems strange they announced it so late. Will it be a big trek for us from the coach drop off / gate A to Gate D??
  6. Thank you - my friend took the plunge and booked it so we will give it a go. It just seemed a bit odd them announcing it so late but it looks decent for the price 👍
  7. Really considering this for a bit of extra comfort it looks quite good - for 2 of us, assume we could stick 2 tents at our pitch spot? So £125 each it seems. We would have to walk from coach drop off to there is the only thing.
  8. Looks good - was going to go for the decathlon self inflating mattress at same price but this looks thicker and lighter I think. It says can inflate by blowing it up by mouth but do you actually need a pump?
  9. Thanks - that's good to know, it's just for me but I had thought about re-using it after with the family, I'm also bringing it over on the flight so something smaller and lighter probably makes more sense. Maybe a pop up lighter one.
  10. Was looking at the same tent as above but the non inflatable one with poles - the 4.1 f&b £199 I think it is
  11. We don't have a roof box but have always wanted one, car doesn't have any roof bars but it sounds like we still have options? Perhaps the ones that slot into the door? Never heard of these before, sounds great.
  12. 2 of us were looking to do the same to the festival if there was 2 of you and we arrived similar times we could share the taxi costs perhaps? Think we would be looking at leaving airport at about 11am on the weds
  13. Are Justice likely to announce UK / Ireland dates would love to catch them there but obviously even more wanting to catch them at Glastonbury as was lucky to get a ticket this year 🙏 have been reading mixed thoughts they seem about 50/50 at this stage it seems to me
  14. How do you find these? What one did you go for? 🙂
  15. It said on the coach website it takes an hour - but surely that's a lot longer with traffic etc. Thinking the 8am coach maybe even though flight isn't till 1?
  16. Hey @northernringo we are going to take your good advice and pack the same way as you on our flight. Going to check in 1 x 23kg hold bag and 1 x 15kg hold bag between us. Was just wondering what trolley you use, one of the square black ones with wheels or the more upright types? Think we will then get the coach from airport down and back. It will then just be wondering what coach to book on the Monday morning for our flight and how much extra time we need to account for traffic etc, our flight back is at 1pm, any guidance from anyone would be appreciated 👍😊
  17. Hey - 2 of us flying in and out from Belfast, would be happy to share a taxi if it suited anyone else also. Leaving the airport about 9am Weds and leaving festival about 8/9am on the Monday, can be a bit flexible on the times also provided it's still within flight times obviously. Thanks 👍
  18. 2 of us would be keen on sharing a taxi about 9am on the Wednesday morning if anyone else is in a similar position to us 👍 Perhaps I should ask this in another thread as well actually.
  19. Hi - have been 3 times before from Belfast myself but not been in 7 years, going this year though and can't wait. Only 2 of us heading this year and we have flights booked to get in about 9 on the Weds but nothing else finalised like yourself. In previous years a taxi has worked great for us - picked up at the airport then stopped off at a supermarket on the way to grab food / drink. It's tough on the arms carrying everything but other than that it worked fine. Between 4 the taxi cost isn't too bad although I still have to price it for this year, sounds like your group has 8 which is perfect for 2 taxis, if you are short at all we could be keen to group up in a taxi. Great advice from Northern Ringo above also regarding luggage on the flight.
  20. Brilliant, thank you. We will do something similar then. Have a good journey and see you on the farm! 👏👍👍🎉
  21. Sorry meant to ask also are you taking your camping things over on the plane? Bit worried about the luggage sizes allowed etc. We have done it before years ago but airlines seems a lot stricter now.
  22. Thanks - yeah that's always the risk.i suppose when trying to grab supplies on arrival. We get in at 9.45am on the Weds. Haven't been since 2017 but previously we got a taxi from airport they stopped at a supermarket on the way which worked well so perhaps that could be an option again although only 2 of us this time. Your plan in getting there early sounds like a good one. Will keep having a think and try to get a plan in place 👍
  23. Flying the same way but not booked coach yet - did you book from the city or the airport? What's a good plan for picking up food / drink etc? Any guidance is welcome 🙂
  24. Hi Everyone, Getting very excited now for next year, haven't been since 2017. Just 2 of us going this year, in previous years has been a larger group and have got taxis easy enough which also stopped off for supplies which worked well. This year we will likely book a coach from the airport I think, but I was wondering if we need to grab food, drinks perhaps some camping gear from somewhere before heading down would there be anywhere near the airport we could go or would we need to go into Bristol before getting the coach? Any guidance would be appreciated!
