  1. Not a fan at all, but. Last time they performed at RW they were fantastic... RHCP were not as good imo (I even left for Tame Impala) , people came for Editors on that day, and Editors killed it. The crowd was a great choir, and the final was astonishing with fireworks.

I cant help with C7 experience, but Im glad you managed to buy a combi ticket before they're sold out. We'll meet for a beer then!

    Oh yes mate!!! :)

If I remember well, showers and toilets (for poo) are not free in A1, something like cts.

There's a little pub with a great atmosphere at the entrance of the campsite (inside it) and it's really different from the Hive. There are no Playstations, crowds etc but I find that you create easy links with people there. My only advice is : don't set your tent too close to the entrance cause it's noisy (because of a pump linked to showers, + the pub+ à group who comes there every year and turn the music loud)

Think I'm going to see Gang of Youths as the first band of the festival based on this, thanks! Shame about Rufus T Firefly, really liked the sound of them but I can't miss Queens of the Stone Age.

    You're in for a treat ;)

  4. Got good news : after the cancellation of my presence at Beauregard Festival caus emy friend can't attend it, I bought a last minute ticket for Rock Werchter ! But of course, it's late, and the only campsite available was ... C7 x) (I've been to The Hive and A1 in the past, but never so far away) Have you ever experienced it ?

It's really heartbreaking... His music helped me through not easy years... One of the bestsongwriters of this century. He had a phenomenal energy on stage aroud 8 years ago. Check out The Loneliness & The Scream at T In The Park 2010

Camping is not available so there is no campsite in Lollapalooza Paris.

Damn!  The place where it's held has already welcomed Solidays (which takes place every year since 20 years and I've been to 4 editions), and Download for its first year in 2016. Both had camping, the festival changes but earwigs stay. That's why I stated this ;)

Just one of those festivals that no-one from here goes to. Same goes for Lowlands and Roskilde and the other Scandinavian festivals. Loads of people go to them, just none/hardly anyone from these forums so it seems.

I can tell some things about the festival, but I've got a bad opinion about it, so I stay quiet because I don't want to spread any negativity here.

  8. Triggerfinger at midnight in KLUB C is MAD. Big clash with Gorillaz.

Otherwise, Sunday has awful clashes. Kaleo vs George Ezra, Eels VS David Byrne, Gallagher vs Nine Inch Nails (in te BARN !!!), and Arctic Monkeys vs Fever Ray in the Barn. Saturday on main stage is incredible...

Well, your opinion obviously differ from mine. Really expecting a superb video from you now;)

I love this video, the Halloween make-up adds something, and even if the sound isn't perfect, the cameramen did a great job!

  10. Excellent idea @McCallion !

I start with Isaac Gracie on Friday! Videos with his band are pretty rare on YouTube, he almost has solo shows. He's excellent, very influenced by grunge music and Brit Pop, so he has a very singular universe; both Arctic Monkeys and Pearl Jam fans will probably love it :

Otherwise on Thursday, we've got Gang Of Youths :

Saturday is pretty unreal with The Struts back to RW, there are just fresh air, true rock'n'rollas :

And a special mention to Kaleo on Sunday, cause even if they don't need any introduction they have become so freakin good, check out their performance last week-end at Lollapalooza, they have improved their skills on stage this year :

They are a fucking great live band, whatever you think of them. Also pretty much every song they played in that set was released as a (pretty successful) single - about 10 were in the Top 20 in UK back when people paid for music :P. Not many bands can show up and do that. Hope y'all enjoy them :)

I remember when they played at Vieilles Charrues ten years ago.. Springsteen was the headliner. They already had some anthems like Mr Brightside or Somebody Told Me, but I had never imagined they would grow up like this and become that good! They looked like beginners  compared to Springsteen back in the day! Now they still look like beginners compared to him but they are awesome :P
