    Surprised we’ve not got a date for new Tame stuff. You think it would be out before they play Coachella. He’s said he doesn’t like playing unreleased songs as it doesn’t go down great so I’m certain we’ll have the new album before Glasto. 

    Its unlikely we’ll get Tame and Vampire weekend both headling the Other?

    We were in a relatively decent spot but it was just full of people waiting for THAT song.   There were points where we wouldn't even hear the band because we were just surrounded by groups of people shouting amongst themselves as if the band were some annoying distraction.  They all faced the stage and went mental for A Punk and then quickly turned around again and got back on with their own conversations once it had finished.

    I don't really mind a bit of chatter or whatever at festivals but this really was unbearable.   

    Love them but I'd be giving them a miss if they're on the Pyramid again.

     

    Happens a fair bit at the Pyramid, especially that time of day and even more so on the Sunday! Really hope they headline Other on the Friday

    They also played 3 years on the bounce with a secret set thrown in so if they played this year that would be 4/5. Makes sense to wait until next year and headline the Other in 2020

    Yeah I don’t see 1975 playing 2020, they could sub this year and come back in  2021 with another album and headline. I was thinking the same for Stormzy before he was announced headliner

    Someone on here mentioned they’re working on new stuff but I’ve looked elsewhere and couldn’t find anything to back it up. They’re got a few gigs / festivals announced for the summer so you would expect new material. I always enjoy their sets but I can’t see them back this year!

    coachella for her was before a tour with Jay Z. However if she was planning to be doing anything this year I’d imagine something would be announced so tickets could be sold

    edit: I think Kanye is the only act in recent memory which did Glastonbury as a ‘one off’

    Just checked and last time she played was after her tour, fair enough she did a few other festivals over here. Maybe she'll get announced for BST and a couple of European festivals,  I doubt it and I'm not a fan of hers was just surprised she hadn't been mentioned and Oasis and Led Zep both had!

    Her Coachella set was everywhere for a few weeks last year, biggest reaction I’ve seen from a Coachella set anyway. Thought then that Glasto would be trying to get her back to the farm soon

    If they book the Killers it’s surely just trying to carry the hype on from their John Peel set. It was a Glastonbury moment and it should be left as that instead of trying to replicate it on the Pyramid. 

    Surprised Beyoncé hasn’t been mentioned!

    Would be pretty gutted if Macca isn’t playing after all. Would need to be a big booking to replace him, Stormzy and The Cure aren’t the strongest duo, a massive name next to them and it’d look alright. I like at least one Pyramid headliner each year and ended up with Ed last year ( All my mates were going, should have gone with Foo’s ). Up for AM / Gaga if it isn’t Macca 

     

    Also does this mean Macca won’t be playing BST?

    I reckon they'll sub one of the two main stages...? Although this is Spain of course, maybe even one lower or late at night.

    Probably a similar position to Kasabian this year

    Yeah, it was on my brothers mac, they worked for him last year. Luckily there was two of us, so much quicker one reading and the other typing. Our group was already sorted so it was for my cousins group, reckon that must have been one of the last ones to get Wednesday tickets at 6:19!
