  1. Whats the best way to get involved with the recycling crew? Of all the options think this one would best for me as I'm not overly fussed about stuff on after headliners. Am i right in thinking shifts are 6-12ish? Have always said i'd work if i didn't manage to get tickets, been lucky the last few years but like many others on here feel the luck will run out eventually.

  2. Thought it was pretty poor having The Killers back after they’d played a secret set the festival before. To do it again with Foals would be even worse. The Killers played John Peel they were the most talked about set of the weekend, Foals secret set just seemed to go down like any other set. I’m not a fan of 1975 but they’d make more sense.

  3. Was meant to be working till Tuesday. I'm now only in on Monday which means I get to watch both England games, hopefully they get the good weather too! Watching the Aussie game and hopefully having a bbq will most likely end up with me having a rough head and a 6 hour coach journey on the Wednesday!

Is the paella place back this year? Did love their bi-ella! Think they were between Other stage and JP?

Paellaria, they’ve two stalls one between Pyramid and Other and one near Williams Green. They were at All Points East but the queue was massive, hoping they’re back at Glasto!

I was wondering how Tame Impala had dropped so many points in one day. Back on page 15 @floorfiller messed it up and dropped 20 from them without using any of his points.

A factor that has made me missing them an even easier decision.

Maybe they'll debut a new song at the festival, but as it stands it's looking like a pretty similar setlist to their 2016 sub slot. I'm sure the added bonus of darkness and their light show will make it worth it for those who go, but I was kind of counting on some new tunes to ramp up my interest.

I think Kevin Parker is on Radio 1 on Thursday with Annie Mac so maybe we'll get another single. Pretty poor the two main stages are going to have pretty much repeat sets, pretty sure they were expecting them to both have new albums out by now. Black Keys would have been a better choice to headline other this year

I really hope he puts the album out before the fest even if he just drops it out of nowhere. Can’t see too many people who saw him in ‘17 bothering to see the same set again plus a few songs we’ve never heard before. It was fine but I wouldn’t be rushing to the pyramid to see it again. He needs to put out the album or else have a load of good special guests lined up to avoid being the flop of the weekend imo.

Its pretty much the same story with Tame Impala headlining the other.

When the lineup times first came out Annie Mac was down as playing somewhere in Shangri-la, possibly the Gas Tower if i remember correctly. This was going to be with Todla T and someone else. But then they revised the Shangi-La times later that day. Either she's now a TBA or she's pulled out.

Yeah I remember seeing her as Annie MAC Presents, on the Gas Tower. Would be poor if she’s the John Peel tba, we’ve already enough repeats of last year

  16. Is it mainly acoustic gigs at Strummerville? Hoping to watch Johnny Lloyd, think he’s same time as Tba’s in Williams Green, so hopefully won’t be too busy up there.

Yeah that was day time. It was red hot in the day, had my top off most of it. Baggy Monday’s were on till 9, I remember being cold, must have just been me!

It was still 20C+ at that time in 2017.

Must have been stood in an open / windy spot! Just checked my photos and we’ve all got our coats / jackets on!

    Freezing? In 17?

Yeah, I think the sun had gone and there was a bitter wind! I was fine later on, just remember it wasn’t worth standing there!

  20. It was freezing outside in 17. Couldn't really hear it but we got there late in a biggish group. Try and get there earlier this year, no Smyths to keep us a Williams Green
