Odds and Sods - Bank Holiday Mostly just open Fields, a few of the wood pile on the main crossroads on the railway line. The pictures do have a title but feel free to ask any questions if you want. Am I the only one that thinks it's weird to have a limit to how many 'likes' you can give out in one day. Any thanks to those who have expressed their appreciation - to many to 'like' 😄

Bank Holiday Monday Is this place open during the Festival? Over 20 Glastonbury's and It's always surprising me

Obligatory Pyramid Stage Pics - It's the law! - Bank Holiday (yep I couldn't not share even tho they're a lots just like these ) The last one was taken standing with my back to the Worthy View entrance/exit

Big Green Giant - Bank Holiday Also known as Pangia - Arcadia I am so glad the Spider is returning. Do people think they will have both the crane and spider this year? There does seem to be enough room...

Bella's Bridge - Bank Holiday. I love this place. Just north of it is the Crooners Corner stage - not shown - where this singer often belts out some great Frank Sanartra songs. It looks like they have fully re-done the deck. It certainly attracted lots of mud to stick to it in the past. I can't believe it's 10 years old already There is a pedestrian walkway thru the water like a Ford... has that always been there?

Green Fields, well mainly Green Peace from the railway line - Bank Holiday One of these is of a Totem Pole stored on the railway, a little sad I thought.

Strummerville - Bank Holiday I was knackered climbing the hill so sorry for the heavy breathing. (more to come later )

The Park - Bank Holiday Not a lot going on. The stage has a lot of equipment delivered to in in readiness but no construction yet. Much the same at the Ribbon Tower I never knew the Park had a side entrance, half way up on it's west side into Pennards as shown by the big posts and rafters

Bank Holiday - The Other Stage After walking from the Pyramid "back stage" to the Other Stage field it was really weird and didn't seem like I was at Glastonbury at all, it's hard to explain.

Bank Holiday - The Stones Maybe I missed it in 2019. There seems to be a new purpose built entrance at the bottom coming up from the green fields. It's built from sand stone bricks, very substantial and looks beautiful. Also in the east of the field half way up there is a ban the bomb/love sign next to some lovely gardens

I reckon that's more proof to the theory that those trailers are used to accept delivery from 'normal' road going lorries, then they are pulled around the site by 'mud loving go anywhere' tractors or cabs to drop off at different locations.

I found this old low-res vid of a drive around the fence from 2017. I found it entertaining, it gives you an idea of the scale of the thing plus it has lots of trivial stats.

Thanks Stewart, that is what I will do with mine - 4 very short clips

I couldn't see the movie file. Is there a special way to upload .MOV files?

I can't believe I was onsite within 2 hours of two other Efesters. I can't believe how similar our pics look, although maybe I do have the odd original. Will post them later 🙂

I must have just missed you, I'm there now, pics to come later

Maybe they use them to take delivery of the fence sections, then distribute them around the perimeter, using some extra powerful all terrain towing cab? Ah, don't you just love mindless speculation 😏

So do you know if today the last day 'randoms' can take a walk around the site before they set up security measures?
-
Oh Thanks Crazy, Tomorrow it is - rain or shine. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to park?
-
I know that a few people here have been wondering around the site for a walk before the security starts in earnest. I would like to do that one day. Can I just park up somewhere and explore? Can anyone recommend the best place to park? How long do you reckon this will still be possible?

3d screens! They would look good on any stage
