  1. Never had an issue at C. A little slower when you go in for the first time and get your wristbands, but apart from that always been through fairly sharpish.

  2. That is said with love obviously @FuzzyDunlop

    ...but having nowhere to sit down & rest, walking with what felt like cast iron boots, slow & ridiculous cues to get everywhere, it was very tough. And that's coming from a landscaper very used to mud. Then having to save a poor bloke who's prosthetic leg had come off after getting stuck in the mud in a crowd on the train track, that stayed with me for a few hours after.

    Don't think it could get much worse tbh... so anything else is a plus!

    It would be interesting to see weather predictions for the next 10 days from 5 or 6 different weather sites, put them in a spreadsheet/table and then check them off each day to see which ones produce the best results.  We can then claim that one as our ‘trusted’ source.  Any takers?

    @vintagelaureate loves a spreadsheet!

    netweather monthly forecast updated...and looks like normal british weather..i.e. changeable, some sun, some rain, not that hot.

    https://www.netweather.tv/weather-forecasts/uk/long-range/monthly

    Week 3: Monday 20th June - Sunday 26th June

    During this period it looks likely that the low pressure anomaly centre will shift to the east of Britain, with a high pressure anomaly in the mid-North Atlantic, resulting in a cooler west to north-westerly type often establishing over Britain. With the low pressure anomaly to the east being closer to the UK than the high pressure anomaly to the west, it is forecast to remain generally changeable with some low pressure systems and fronts and associated rain belts moving across the country. There will be some brighter showery weather in between the rain belts.

    As a result, mean temperatures are forecast to be close to or just below normal, with negative anomalies generally between 0 and 1C. Most parts of the UK can expect to be wetter and cloudier than average, with eastern England especially likely to be somewhat wetter than average. Sunshine may end up close to or slightly above average in some western areas, particularly Northern Ireland.

    Just wait until 'you know who' gets wind of this... 🙄

  5. Kudos for all the coffee suggestions 👍  Went for a percolator with matching hand grinder after Mrs YBNB went over the above options. Had no idea she was such a coffee snob.

    Now after all that, we're guaranteed to be camped near a decent coffee stall.

  6. Ok top tippers. Let’s talk coffee.

    Currently in conversation with the wife who is turning her delicate little nose up at the thought of drinking instant. Any thoughts on a better way of her getting a fragrant and satisfactory caffeine hit from the van in the morning?

    I’m not fussed either way, but happy wife happy life n all that.

  7. Next question to the campervan crew...

    Breakdown cover?

    Just had a great quote from Brentacre for insurance, so will most likely go with them. However they couldn't advise on a company for breakdown cover. Any suggestions always greatly appreciated. 😊
