Black Honey were fantastic last time they play victorious, fortunate enough to see them a few times since so 🤞 Tim Burgess is highly involved with Kendal but hopefully he can join the line up too, everything he to touches turns to gold Idles are a great shout also. Mysterines are supporting AM but happily see them twice, cracking voice and quite different to a lot of UK bands just now

When you’re talking about a better indication from truck and tramlines, do you mean in terms of acts being shared with victorious or ruled out? I’m hoping for a curveball from somewhere. Struggling to think of big potential acts I’ve not seen that could play. But at the same time would be happy to rebook some from the 2018 line up which was my fave/first year. Weller, The Cribs, Gaz Coombes, Sleeper, Chris Helme and Shed 7 to name but a few. Not hard to spot my era is it 🤣 Reckon there’s potential for a few of them

In my opinion campsite is excellent in comparison to most fests. Plenty of space, friendly and 10 min walk to supermarket. Buses into the fest are frequent and only takes about 20 min. Always left pretty early in the morning so not sure how busy these get later in the day. Bus home is a bit of a nightmare if you’re planning to stay to then end. 2 hour queue isn’t much fun but on the plus side the place is beautiful so far worse places to be! we fly down from Edinburgh, so gave up camping as a pain in the ring lugging all the gear down 🤣🤣 staying at the uni accommodation this year, so pack light and no stress 👍 Enjoy

Don’t get me wrong, if they play victorious chances are I’ll be seeing them unless there’s a belter on the castle stage… that said, the missus will probably pull rank anyway 😁 but I’m still hoping for Richard Ashcroft or something left field. -6 degrees here today and I’d quite happily be in the common watching the kasabian lads right now! ☀️ 🏰 🍻

Yeah I see your point and not a fan of Toms solo stuff but thought it adds up. Personally I’d prefer they don’t book noel, kasabian, Tom or Zutons. Seen kasabian a load right from the start, so headline show without Tom isn’t as appealing as a different act to me. Right now I’d pick Liam over Noel but that doesn’t look likely. I’d love to see idles and/or Soft Play, that would be amazing!! Add shame to that mix too and I’d be over the moon, but agree traditionally they are a more likely fit for R&L.

A good shout but I reckon Tom Meighan plays solo rather than the kasabian boys. My thinking being that Noel will headline and both Tom and The Zutons are his tour supports.

From my point of view that’s great news! Quite happy none of those will be appearing at victorious and if anything it looks like a really weak set of headliners for R&L, although probably much more to do with my age/taste 😁 We get this… but I still expect this 🤣🤣🤣 I think there’s a good chance of Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbot headlining going by the size of their tour. Seeing them at TRNSMT with Pulp so not fussed either way Still think we are due a Richard Ashcroft or Ian Brown this year.

So when do we think for the next announcement based on past years? Hoping to see Ashcroft at some point over the weekend 🤞 also would far sooner see Liam over Noel just now, but not sure if playing boardmasters rules him out? Im just waiting on the uni accommodation becoming available and then we’re all sorted!!

Pleased with the 4 you mentioned there, so I’ll need to check our crawlers as not heard them before. Also pleased/shocked to see The Enemy playing as thought they were on IOW and they didn’t share bands. Decent start for me 👍

Early bird ticket price finishes tonight. In my mind this price is for the hardy loyal souls who don’t need a line up to buy a ticket 😁 So I reckon more likely to get something next Friday to drive Xmas ticket sales, would be mad not to announce something pre Xmas
