  1. After the shambles that is the Upgrade process, I really hope Primavera are holding back tickets for ALL 2020 ticket holders before releasing more.

Did anyone else on here buy multiple PRE - EARLY BIRD 2020 tickets using your 2019 ticket code via RedTkt & then correctly remember it was individual transactions so when the link was received on the 25th May for the Upgrade option you repeated the application process more than once?

  2. not sure if already flagged - but just a note that for any UK people - and especially weekend 1 ticket holders - we have 2 back to back Bank Holidays on 2nd & 3rd June for the Queen's jubilee - so bonus holiday leave too!

I think now (after we "missed" the May 25th deadline) we have only two options - refund or keeping the ticket as Weekend 1 only. Or maybe REDTKT will acknowledge their miscommunication and allow us to upgrade now. But I think this option is more of a wishful thinking than real possibility.

I've basically played dumb on my email & said that I want to upgrade both tickets, but only got the 1 link.  Totally their problem, so going to fight it if they try & push it back on me.  Last year they kept pushing back on refunds & encouraging existing tickets holders to keep hold of theirs, so seems perverse not to prioritise us now.

I'll let you know if I get anything back!

Where do you see the upgrade option is open until 30th June?

This is the original info from PS official website:

On May 25th you will receive a form from the point of sale where you bought the ticket allowing you to choose which weekend you want to attend. If you don't choose a Weekend before 31st May at 23,59h your ticket will be valid for Weekend 1.

Sorry, it's the payment until June 30th - but I thought not choosing an option by 31st May meant the refund policy kicked in - so confusing - arghhh!!!

No, no e-mail regarding the refund yet. And if it was really like this (one ticket = one purchase), then they definitely should have mentioned this in the upgrade e-mail. In my case, to find the e-mail with the 1st ticket I had to open the e-mail with the 2nd ticket and scroll down. So even on Friday when I realised something is wrong with the tickets, it took me quite some time to find out what was the problem. Really counterintuitive mess.

it really is - plus the fact that only 1 email was sent on the 25th May - with 1 upgrade link - if 2 x purchases were made then why did we only get the 1 email & 1 upgrade link?

I see that the upgrade option is open untll 30th June - I'd like to think that this is time for them to sort out 2019 holders before any further tickets are up for grabs!

The same happened to me. I really don't remember what were the circumstances (maybe some technical issues?), but it seems, that in the pre-early bird sale in 2019 I bought two tickets in two separate purchases - 2 minutes apart. I've already written to REDTKT, but I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact, that I will have to buy a separate weekend 2 ticket. I can live with those extra 50 euros (I bought the original ticket for 150 or something), but what will really hurt is the loss of the priority access to the city gigs.

So have you then got a separate email for a refund option for the second purchase?  I've had no refund email, only the link to upgrade - I now remember there was only the option to buy individual tickets in early bird 2019 as I queried the 2x booking fees - no mention of this in the email from the 25th May & they would have known people were only able to purchase individual tickets.

(something which I'd clearly forgotten given the process was 2 years ago!)

Someone earlier here mentioned I think that the link in the email was actually 2, with a space missing or something?

Thanks - I'd seen that mentioned & definitely only the one link - I'll see what they come back with & post here if anyone else is having the same issue.

  8. Is anyone else having issues with the Red Ticket upgrade?  I purchased 2 tickets - but only have ONE link to purchase ONE ticket upgrade for Weekend 1 & 2 - can now see that I originally had 2 purchase IDs for each ticket but this wasn't mentioned on the request form - suggested both tickets were bundled together.  I've emailed Red Ticket to query this.

    Bit of a mess.

Jamboree (where HM is playing) looks like an awesome little jazz club. I might go partly for the venue.

I can vouch that it's a great little venue, and the acoustics are perfect - we went to one of their nights after Primavera had finished back in 2016 & it was a great place to ease after the festival.

  10. I know this is a crazy, very spoilt thing to say after what we've just been given, but it does say the below on the press release for people thinking about any dropouts / additions

We must clarify that the lineup is not yet complete and more artists will be added soon

Is that so? Assumed it would just be a list of acts but getting day splits too would be ace.

Suppose it makes sense if they’re intending to sell day tickets.

It certainly suggests that from the Q&A on the official site...

I bought a day ticket; will I be able to change the day if there are changes in the lineup when it is announced?

If you decide to keep your day ticket for Primavera Sound 2022, you can choose the day that you like the most from June 2nd, 3th and 4th of the first weekend or from 9th, 10th and 11th of the second weekend. On May 25th, you will receive an email from the point of sale where you bought the ticket to choose the day you want to attend for the next edition of Primavera Sound.

Will be interesting in general how much information regarding the ciutat gigs we will get on Tuesday. Daily Line-Up?

It's an important part of the Line-Up next year for convincing foreigners to stay for the second weekend.

I was surprised to read that the day splits will be announced on Tuesday too.  I guess all eyes are on 2022!

I'm still going with it being mostly the same line ups but with different headliners. One weekend has the 2020/2021 lot and the other has Rosalia, NIN, Portishead etc.

Certainly feels like it's going this way, the 2 x dates that people have spoken about with everyone on here keeping their 2020/2021 tickets for a slighly revised line up on weekend 1, then weekend 2 being an additional festival, so new tickets and new artists... maybe?!
