I’m confused though, the younger audience were watching the likes of Blur and Oasis. So yeah the genre of music that the youngsters like has changed but the youngsters have always been going
-
Can’t see them having 3 out of 4 Victorious headers and although I initially thought Jamie T was a guarantee (as they really want him) I just don’t know if he’ll play that many Superstruct events. My Guess: Paolo Nutini Bombay Bicycle Club + Wet Leg Snoop Dogg
-
Yeah true. Is there any Lythum things to announce too. Very good point though
-
Victorious normally has 1 standalone headliner that’s not really doing other festivals so I doubt they’re doing Y Not too.
-
I got The Human League yesterday and an email from Truck saying I’d not been picked etc…
-
Add Paolo to that list, I think he’s a certainty.
-
They do
-
I’d personally be amazed if the headers aren’t Nutini, Jamie T and Snow Patrol from that bunch
-
Don’t think he’ll do this. People don’t normally do more than 3 of the superstruct events
-
I really like Jamie T, never seen Courteeners before so would be happy to see them and I thought The Lathums were great at Glasto so would see them too. Be nice to add a couple more during the 2nd announcement
-
Yeah we were on tv loads with a flag of my mates ass during that! Was a fun set
-
Snow patrol are already playing?
-
Tom Grennan at Tramlines, wouldn’t surprise me if he was a special guest at Victorious
-
So Paolo, Jamie T and Bombay Bicycle Club as the headers
-
Yep, Jamie T is headlining Truck and by the look of the poster it’s Friday. No chance he’s a co-header Idles are actually 3rd down at Victorious too (I know they’ve listed Snow and Fatboy as co headers but still… they’re not really subbing it)
-
Random one but someone mention Snoop is headlining this
-
Can’t wait for Biffy, they’re the main reason we’ll no doubt end up going
-
I know we know that the top 4 of the common on Friday is: Fatboy, Snow Patrol, Idles, Louis Tomlinson But do people expect the top 3’s of the other days to be: Jamie T, Courteeners, The Lathums Biffy Clyro, Becky Hill, Arlo Parks Basically… I don’t want The Lathums clashing with Courteeners. Makes more sense that Holly Humberstone is opposite them I guess.
-
Randomly I did. Applied using about 5 email address for London and didnt get through to be allowed to buy tickets, tried the Co-Op way and thankfully got through that way. Just annoying I live in Kent 😂. Promised my daughter I’d take her so Manchester it was
-
Declan McKenna maybe?
-
I say it every year but I genuinely don’t know what people expect from these festivals which charge £100-£150. When you take into account a band like Idles will charge £50+ now the festivals just seem like massive value
-
Looks like the lighter length to me just that tiny bit at the top that looks off. But hey Ho, we’ll see if it matches next week
-
well they’re playing and they’d only be headlining
-
Just on this, if you add a couple of good special guests alongside maybe bringing back The Coral and Wunderhorse who missed performances I think you’ll have a good festival at Victorious. I’m leaning towards going again, the 2nd announcement if half decent will no doubt tip me that way
