I thinks it's this bit where your struggling.

I'm not struggling at all. I can recognise reality, the reality of how i've seen Sturgeon use that often-said "Scotland is a country".

Scotland's current status has no relevance to a civic movement for indy.

As you are unable to provide anything to confirm she said this it could be implied that you are mistaken or making it up.

A simple link would help clear this up. If there is no trace of her saying this then we can all make our mind up and move on :-)

Of course we already disagree on whether Scotland is a Country. Funny as that is.

I see you've chosen to avoid the question again.

Is that because you're stupid and can't recognise the simple question being asked, or because you know the answer is what I've said...?

WHY did Sturgeon say "Scotland is a country" in the thing you saw which mentioned English cities? What relevance is Scotland's status within what you saw?

So where would Mike Love's Beach Boys play? Assuming our current Sunday (only day they can play, yes?) Pyramid Stage looks like this:

    Foo Fighters/Ed Sheeran

    ???

    ???

    Diana Ross

    Barry Gibb

Third down? Or 5th down with Gibb in 3rd? Any stage they could play other than Pyramid? Neil's info was specifically for Pyramid anyway, wasn't it?

    yep.

But why choose an airport on an island that's closer to Tunisia than it is to Vatican City?

Just as pertinent to ask would be: why choose a 2nd Italian location at all?

If it's something that's not about italy, it's more likely to be different things than 2 things about Italy, I'd say.

Having said that i do think it's probably something to do with Glasto, but I'm not buying into the cheese and grain thing, that just seems daft.

Assuming it is just for an instillation, do they usually ship big props/scenery like that in this early?

I appreciate it has to be stored somewhere and it can't all be last minute but there is still 4 months.

sometimes, yeah. It has to be stored somewhere, and moving it will cost a lot - so if it can go where it's going from the start, that would make the best sense.

    Then Pixies aren't playing.

    Correct.

And it just so happens my pixies source has been back in touch today to say it again.

He did tell me about a BST warm up show, but he'll take my nuts if I spill it here - so don't ask!

leave him alone, he was cashing in the bets his mates had made. :P

I watched last night, and while Arsenal were thde better team, the standard of footie was (mostly*) the same as you might see in a match between a top prem team and a struggling one.

(* you could see more difference at the end of the match when Sutton were tired)

Yoo hoo! You finished your soup now. I take it you've accepted your error as you haven't replied to my earlier post. You know the one where everyone man & his dog acknowledged Scotland being a country/nation.

It's OK I don't  need an apology. Can we move on now?

    What error, where?

I'm still trying to get an answer for why Sturgeon keeps on saying "Scotland is a country" - which is even weirder if it's like you say that "everyone man & his dog acknowledged Scotland being a country/nation".

If you're right about that, Sturgeon must think every Scottish person is thick as pigshit and keeps forgetting so needs a reminder that Scotland is a country ... and it still doesn't explain why she raises it when it's suggested to her that parts of England might also want to go indy.

Why do you keep on avoiding the question?

Why does Sturgeon keep on saying "Scotland is a country", especially if everyone already knows it?

What bollocks will you or comfy post this time to avoid the question....?

If it is happening, their social media person isn't going to confirm a secret gig - especially if the band have gone to this much trouble to arrange it.

but they also probably wouldn't have started following the foos to give it away, either.

I think this is just someone's idea that's gone wild.

I'm not sure that takes anything away from my comment saying GD being more mainstream like FF puts them on the Pyramid.

FF and GD are rock bands, Dave Grohl doesn't go any less mental signing some songs than Billy, whereas Metallica are metal which way different.

if the pyramid slots were already full they'd need to put GD somewhere else.

It could be that simple. That's exactly how it was with Metallica.

Meanwhile, because GD would be (from my info) up against Ed and other major acts as the headliners on other stages, there wouldn't be an issue with numbers at the Other.

I'm not suggesting it's something they'd look to do, but if GD fell in their lap I doubt they'd turn them away unless they really really had to.

Having said all of that I don't think it's happening, I'm just saying it's not an impossibility.

OK so what the hell is the deal with this plane?

it looks like the one that's been on site for years to me - tho perhhaps its another one.

Whatever it is, it's most likely to be for something mutant / jo rush / pip rush / etc.

  11. 15 minutes ago, thewayiam said:

Thing is if FF top the Pyramid so do GD, they are massively different and more mainstream than Metallica.

and yet metallica were being lined up for the Other Stage until they didn't get Prince.

Green Day is quite possible on the Other, even if it's highly unlikely.

  12. 16 minutes ago, Will-2609 said:

Was your info about nothing special going on about Saturday night or in general?

both. There's no gossip in Frome about it that he's heard (and is locked into the music scene there, too).

If cheese and grain have only recently started following Foos, that could be because the same thing has been suggested to them and they want to see what's what.

    16 minutes ago, Will-2609 said:

Seems more odd that they'd send these passes to only people in England (specifically in the Somerset area) for it to be an Italian thing.

    True.

But it's also strange to use two italian things for something supposedly random. 'True' random (if done by a computer) would make that as likely as anything else, but 'random' done by a human would make that very unlikely.

    16 minutes ago, Will-2609 said:

CAG being an Italian thing was only a guess as we were trying to work it out. The fact Parsonjack has heard there's a special show going on at a venue with the initials CAG who have just followed Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl on twitter is much more of a clue imo.

Plus you wouldn't even fly to CAG if it was a show in Rome.

and it could just be something that's gone mental because someone suggested it's about the cheese & grain, too.

There's plenty of other things that might use the same initials.

Foos play Cheese and Grain on Friday night

    seems exceedingly unlikely.

    Just now, Will-2609 said:

"Vatican City" in the page source was a link to Frome rather than Rome. "CAG" means Cheese and Grain rather than Cagliari.

seems odd that they'd put two italian things on it for nothing to do with italy.

From memory, the interviewer was  asking her why she thought that Scotlands voice should be heard in the a50 negotiations. It was certainly zero to do with a greater right to Indy.

what has Scotland being a country and part of England only being cities got to do with it so she might say "Scotland is a country"?

Where does the relevance of her saying "Scotland is a country" come into it? How is it relevant?

She thinks Scotland Northern Ireland and London plus I assume all remain voters but she didn't mention them all by name, deserve to have their voice heard instead of leaving it up to the Tories to shape our future.

and f they do, what does Scotland being a country have to do with any of that?

If she thinks the remain voters should be represented, Scotland's status as a country has nothing to do with it.

Where does the relevance of her saying "Scotland is a country" come into it? How is it relevant?

    ----

Sturgeon says "Scotland is a country" - often - and she says it with a purpose. What's the purpose when it has no relevance to civic indy?

I've been asking the same question for days, and you never ever answer it. You just post stuff that is not addressing the question I'm asking.

So either you're incredibly thick, or you're avoiding the question. I don't think you're that brain-dead, which means you're avoiding the question for a reason.

I'm sticking with the Green day rumour until it comes crashing down around me.

Justice, BBK, Green day in that order

the uncertainty with the day for Justice is suggesting to me that the Green Day thing is probably bull - cos if it was happening they'd be a set day for justice.
