This festival features several different gigs with acclaimed national and international blues musicians playing at a variety of venues around the picturesque seaside town of Swanage, on the South West coast of England. The 15th edition of the event takes place from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th March 2015.

All sorts of styles are represented such as acoustic, electric, rural and urban blues.

Assorted Buskers, Back Porch, Blue Touch, Bob Pearce Gospel & Blues Band, C Sharp Blues, Dan Sowerby Band, Devil Drives, Fabulous Fezheads, Festival Finale, Hugh Budden, Jam Sessions with Robin Bibi Band, Jason Manners & 3 Buck Shirt, John Crampton, Johnny Sharp, Kevin Brown Trio, LedFree, Lewis Cohen, Northsyde, Open Mic Sessions with Johnny Sharp and Martin Froud, Pete Christie, Pete Harris R & B All Stars, Ray Drury, Riverside Blues Band, Robert Hokum, Robin Bibi Band, Sons Of The Delta, Stan's Blues Jamboree, Steve Brookes, Steve Darrington, The Blues Issue, The Blues Machine, The Jawbreakers, The Mustangs, The RedCrow, The Riotous Brothers, Voodoo Sheiks, Will Killeen, and Zoe Schwarz Blue Commotion.

There will be 30+ acts playing more than 60 gigs in 15 indoor venues, all with free admission.

There are open mic sessions every afternoon and usually a Blues Steam Train ride plus dancers, street musicians, jam sessions (Saturday and Sunday), buskers, Gospel Service, and workshops.

Organisers have had to discontinue the bucket collections due to problems with red tape, health & safety and insurance issues... so they are selling weekend wristbands instead as a pledge and a symbol of the attendees commitment these are priced at £10 for a weekend wristband.

Purchase of weekend wristbands is not compulsory although admission to each venue is at the discretion of the management and some venues may require wristbands to be worn.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available from around £20 per person per night in the town itself.
