The sixth Swanage Blues & Roots festival will be held from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th October 2012.
This festival features over 50 different gigs with 100+ performers at 20 indoor venues around the picturesque seaside town of Swanage, on the South West coast.
There will also be Buskers, Blues Jam Sessions (Saturday and Sunday), Open Mic (every day), Gospel Service, and Blues Steam Train Rides.
Steve is also appealing for help from businesses that are willing to sell the £10 wristbands or to be sponsors for a festival or two."Being in a wheelchair I just can't do it all on my own, and it would be such a shame - and a financial disaster locally - if everything had to end," he said. To cover costs the organiser Steve Darrington has had to see in the introduction of £10 weekend wristbands. "£10 isn't a lot for 40 gigs by 30 acts in 15 indoor venues.
