Swanage Blues & Roots festival 2010

The fourth Swanage Blues & Roots festival will be held from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd October 2010.

This free festival features over 40 different gigs with blues and roots musicians at at fifteen venues around the picturesque seaside town of Swanage, on the South West coast.

Line-up

The acts confirmed so far include include Gwyn Ashton's Two-Man Blues Army, Sons of the Delta, Back Porch Band, Blue Touch, C Sharp Blues, Coalhouse Walker Blues Band, Dave Raphael Band, Fabulous Fezheads, Hugh Budden, Johnny Sharp, Martin Froud, Motel 6, Pete Harris , Robert Hokum Band, Robin Bibi Band, Saiichi Sugiyama Band, Sonny Black, Steve Darrington, The Jawbreakers, The Jives, The Mustangs, The Riotous Brothers, The Riverside Blues Band, and Will Killeen.

Friday

Robin Bibi Band, Sonny Black, Kevin Brown, John Crampton, Back Porch Band, Will Killeen, Motel 6, The Riotous Brothers, The Jives, Pete Harris Band with Hugh Budden, C Sharp Blues, Saiichi Sugiyama Band, and Riverside Blues Band.

Saturday

Fabulous Fezheads, Robert Hokum Band, Back Porch Band, The Riotous Brothers, Riverside Blues Band, Pete Harris Band with Hugh Budden, The Jawbreakers, Sonny Black, Kevin Brown, James & Martin Froud, Steve Darrington Allstars, Saiichi Sugiyama Band, Will Killeen, Coalhouse Walker Blues Band, The Mustangs, and C Sharp Blues.

Sunday

Pete Harris & Hugh Budden, Back Porch Band, Robert Hokum Band, Blue Touch, Dave Raphael Band, Sonny Black, Saiichi Sugiyama Band, The Jawbreakers, and the Steve Darrington Allstars Festival Finale.

There will also be Buskers, Blues Jam Sessions with Robin Bibi Band (Saturday and Sunday), Open Mic (every day with Martin and Johnny), Gospel Service, and Blues Steam Train Rides.

Accommodation

The festival offers a full programme every afternoon and evening and will play host to 40 gigs in 15 indoor venues. Swanage offers plenty of places to stay and is on the Jurassic coast.
