Marvellous (Wellington) 2012


This event, now in it's tenth year, is held in Wellington Country Park, in The Waterloo Meadow, an 80-acre site surrounded by oak trees, on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July 2012.

Line-up

A host of tribute acts on both days is complete:
Friday: The Bootleg Beatles, T.Rextasy, Fleetwood Bac, The Fillers.
Saturday: The Great Pretender & HRH (Queen), The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute, The Sweet, Legend (Bob Marley), The Black Eyed Peaz, Coldplace, and Rat Pack Show.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £56, and a children weekend tickets (ages 5-15) are priced at £28. Friday adult tickets are priced at £28, children tickets (ages 5-15) are priced at £14. Saturday adult tickets are priced at £34, children tickets (ages 5-15) are £17. Chuildren aged under 5 years can attend free.

Gates normally open at 3pm when people can bring and enjoy their own picnic. Music normally starts at 5pm. There are plenty of eating and drinking facilities, together with a hospitality marquee for sponsors and corporate guests, and a funfair. The festival will finish with a fireworks finale.

Camping

Full camping facilities are available for those wishing to make a weekend of it and there'll be an array of entertainment to keep everyone occupied which last year included The Big Kids' Village, Fairground Rides, Face Painting, Dance Workshops, Bouncy Castles, Obstacle Courses, Blues Harmonica Workshop, Full Bar Facilities, Fabulous Food Stalls and more!

Parking

There is a £2 charge for parking. The car park can accommodate 2000+ cars, with the capacity to increase if necessary. There is also a caravan park for those guests who wish to make a weekend of it.
