Marvellous (Canford Park Arena) 2007

Adults: £26 per day/ £45 - 2 days; children 5-15 yrs - £6; Under 5s free
This new event, taking place on 4th and 5th August 2007, occurs between the previously established Marvellous Festival in Wellington Country Park in July, and the forthcoming Marvellous Festival on Newcastle Racecourse in August.
There are two performance days featuring a wide variety of cover bands representing the music of various performers such as Queen, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Abba amongst others. The programme is planned as follows:
SATURDAY, 4th August: One Night of Queen; Motown Show; and Perfect Alibi (Pink Floyd).
SUNDAY, 5th August: Bootleg Beatles; Abba Mania; and The Hamsters (ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix).
Gates open at 4pm when people can bring and enjoy their own picnic. Music starts at 6pm. There will be food and drink outlets, together with face painting and a bouncy castle. The festival will finish with a fireworks finale around 10.45pm.
PARKING AND GAZEBOS
There is a £2 charge for parking and a £25 charge for a gazebo space (gazebo not included).
