Marvellous (Newcastle) 2007


This is a sister to the Marvellous festival held in Wellington Country Park in July, featuring bands playing the music of pop icons such as Queen, and the Beatles.

The programme is planned as follows:
SATURDAY, 18th August: One Night of Queen; Motown Show; U2UK; and Nearly Dan.
SUNDAY, 19th August: Bootleg Beatles; Voulez Vous; The Hamsters; and the Bryan Adams Experience.

Gates open at 3pm when people can bring and enjoy their own picnic. There will also be plenty of eating and drinking facilities, together with a hospitality marquee. The music will start around 6.30pm and finish around 10.30pm each evening.

Car Parking
There is a £2 charge for parking which is collected on the gate and ample space is available.

TICKETS
On Saturday and Sunday, individual adult tickets are charged at £26 each; however on Sunday, with each adult ticket, one children aged 5 - 15 years is admitted free. Any extra children are admitted at £8.50 each.
