Now in its 12th year Bures Music Festival is a fundraising event held annually in Bures, on the Essex/Suffolk border, raising money for charitable organisations such as St. Helena's Hospice and The Ferriers Barn Handicapped Centre, as well as for local organisations.

The first acts for this year's programme have been announced - the choir on Wednesday is Musicology, Blues on the Friday is provided by Connie Lush and Blue Shouter, with Just Blues in support. Jazz on the Sunday with TJ Johnson and his band, The Laura Zakian Quintet, Atela and his musicians, Liane Carrol and John Etheridge, with Carl Hudson and Tom Walsh performing between acts.
