Yeah man, see below!
Apparently the initial figure is £58m. Over time, with add ons, I expect the fee to be about £70m. That said, Real definitely dislike Jose and United. I think they're still bitter with regards to the De Gea fax machine incident.
I also reckon that they see United as their biggest threat globally in terms of revenue and popularity etc. I imagine that plays an (albeit slightly smaller) part too.
They probably also expected United to be more willing to meet whatever valuation they slapped on him, whereas Chelsea are much tougher negotiators. With United out of the running now they either had to lower their valuation or they probably wouldn't have found a buyer.

And everything else that isnt titled isolated system or madness
Animals is a good song imo, best thing on the last 3 albums barring MK Ultra.
Supremacy is alright but a little dumb, Survival would be alright with different lyrics and the shitty piano intro chopped off the beginning.
What else is even on it? Panic Station is stupid, Explorers is pointless.
Think that's everything covered.

Just had my first listen of Guilty Party and it's a right old banger.

£75m is about right for him. The £100m being tossed about was pretty ridiculous.

If they play a midfield 2 of Pogba and Herrera then they'll also end up having to play Mkhi and Martial at full back. That team is no better than what they had last year.
What's happened with the Matic deal? That seemed like it was done.
Would imagine a midfield 3 of Matic, Herrera, Pogba, and a front 3 of Mkhitaryan, Lukaku, Martial/Rashford.
Obviously they've been after another winger, though.
Edit: So what happens with Chelea now? They tell their striker he isn't wanted and then his replacement goes to United instead

That Bruce stuff is absolutely insane. Absolute weirdos.

Someone on reddit said that Ed told them they were playing Brazil next year, so maybe a few shows next year but yeah, I'm not expecting new material for another 4/5 years.
Ah fair enough, even then I wouldn't expect anything else in the UK. Glad I saw them a few times on this tour, happy with a decent gap now really.

So how long do we reckon it'll be til the boys are back around? I'm expecting another long break of at least 5 years.

Would struggle to stop at a kick in the balls, although if he can sing this high normally then maybe a kick in the balls could take him to higher levels. Somebody do this so we can be sure.
It's like a very forceful petition for them to play Micro Cuts and Showbiz.

I think 15 Step is a fucking terrible song to play at a massive outdoor gig. Thought the same at Glasto. Especially before the guitars come in.

Imagine they opened with my favourite song of all time and I got into the venue one minute before they came on (and there were thousands of people behind me in the queue who seemed to still be entering the stadium until half way through the gig). What went on there? I arrived at like quarter past 7 and there were queues everywhere. If I'd turned up 5 mins later and missed it I'd have been absolutely fuming.
The fucking Bends! Opened with my favourite song and played my second favourite as the penultimate song of the night. Ridiculous scenes. Even though I knew they'd soundchecked it I didn't expect it at all. After I Promise I assumed it was gonna be Karma Police but then he stepped up with his electric guitar and gave that little speech and I knew it was in the bag.
On the whole it was nowhere near Glasto. I was seated on account of planning to go with my dad (who didn't even end up coming so I could have swapped for front standing if I'd have known earlier, grr), and no one around me seemed to give a fuck. I was next to the aisle and spent the entire show listening to stewards talking to people trying to leave/enter the general admission standing to go to the bar/toilet. Also the light factor took away from it and it was pretty quiet where I was for a lot of it (first half of All I Need was quieter than the stewards next to me).
Ah well, good gig on the whole and I'm glad I went. The Bends the undisputed highlight.

Fuck glasto was a disappointment wasn't it. Especially after having my testicals ripped off by matts guitar tone in Take a Bow at the o2 a few months before
Yeah it was fucking terrible. I wasn't that blown away by them on the arena tour earlier in the year (that show confirmed to me that I'd be happy to miss them at Glasto if they clashed with LCD).
This has me so torn, but I probably won't bother. It's probably the last opportunity I'd get to see a decent Muse gig, although I guess I have Manchester Academy from 2015 to look back on.

What ten tracks would you lot pick?
1. Butterflies and Hurricanes (never seen the fucker in 11 gigs)
2. Citizen Erased
3. Showbiz
4. Coma
5. Muscle Museum
6. Apocalypse Please
7. Micro Cuts
8. Assassin
9. Fury
10. Bliss
Uno, Dead Star and Hyper Music could all be in there too.

Yeah especially for a band I said I'll never pay to see again after Glasto

In fairness it's for charity apparently.
Any chance they can limit the choices to the first four albums? Anything from Drones, 2nd Law or The Resistance can get to fuck.
Aye fair I guess. Probably prices me out, though.
I'd take MK Ultra from those albums but fuck everything else.
Just now, Deadendfriends8 said:Woaaaaah where did you find this out. That's a joke
Someone on the Muse board said it's listed on Ticketmaster at that price. As has been said though it is an intimate gig for charity so I guess it's just to maximise what they can raise.

Just about to start my journey up to Manchester.
After having a few of the big guns ticked off at Lolla/Glasto the big want for me tonight is HTDC. Saw it in 2012 but I don't remember it (as if that's already 5 years ago) so I need a refresher.
My Iron Lung or Planet Telex would be ballin, and The National Anthem. Just don't hit us with The Gloaming or random TKOL songs. And yeah Reckoner rather than random In Rainbows songs such as All I Need and Videotape.
Pearl jam for Glastonbury
