Another headliner and much more has been revealed for Standon Calling 2018, which returns to take place at Standon House, in Hertfordshire, from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th July 2020.

Previously announced to headline are Primal Scream, and they'll be joined by Hot Chip (pictured above). The Friday night headliner will be revealed 'shortly'.

There'll be crowd pleasing bangers from Craig David's TS5, classic disco from Sister Sledge, the synth-pop of Everything Everything, plus Ella EyreKojey Radical, Fat White Family, Sophie Ellis-Bextor ft Sink The Pink, and a Dick & Dom DJ battle.

There's live acts: !!! (chk chk chk), Picture This, Mystery Jets, Jade Bird, Elvana: Elvis Fronted Nirvana, BC Camplight, The Cuban Brothers, Mafalda, Hollie Cook, Holy Fuck, Boy Azooga, The Orielles, Pip Blom, Plastic Mermaids, Lily Moor, Charlotte Adigery, Working Men's Club, Bad Sounds, One True Pairing, Liz Lawrence, Oh My God! It's The Church, Sado Opera, Alexis Kinds, Shiivers, Talk Like Tigers, Junkyard Choir, and Imogen Harfleet.

The Electric Willows woodland dance stage has DJ sets from Maribou State (DJ Set)Joey Negro, and Greg Wilson, while the Cowshed has a Hospitality takeover on Friday, a Saturday night garage takeover with Artful Dodger, and Matt Jam Lamont, plus others including Conducta24 Hour Garage Girls, and Barely Legal, while Sunday includes Grandmaster Flash, an AV show from DJ Yoda, and DJ FormatGroove Garden will be back with electronic acts and DJs, with the party running until 4am.

There's also takeovers BBC Introducing Beds, Herts And BucksPeople's Front Room, Beefy Melons Temple Of Love And Gratitude, plus this lot: Beefy Melons Temple Of Love & Gratitude, Rockaoke, The Menendez Brothers, Jive Talk, DJ Eden Burgess & Deckster, Digit Soundsystem, Pandemonium Drummers.

There's comedy from Ed Gamble, Zoe Lyons, Lloyd Langford, Spencer Jones, Lucy Pearman, Owen Roberts, Gabby Best, and Hannah Fairweather., and for families and the little ones are: Horrible Histories 'the Worst Of Barmy Britain', How To Train Your Dinosaur, Woodland Tribe, Giant Zip Line, Drag Queen Story Hour, Fromage Juniors Disco, Swing Patrol, Toodles + Nibs, 24 Degrees Family Immersive Theatre, Costume Parade, Dog Show, Swimming Pool.

Festival Director and Founder Alex Trenchard says: “Over the last 15 years we have brought the very best in emerging and established talent to Standon Calling. Our 15th birthday is no exception and I'm delighted that Hot Chip are joining join Primal Scream as our second headliner.  A landmark reunion wouldn't be the same without some old friends flying in from all over the place and it's great to be welcoming back Ella Eyre, Everything Everything and my personal favourites !!! (Chk Chk Chk). My kids can't wait for the return of Horrible Histories' The Worst of Barmy Britain. What is definitely Barmy is that even after all this we're still set to announce one of my favourite acts in early March. Standon Calling 2020 is set to be the best year and very much "The Party of All Time". See you then!
