Happening on the same weekend as the V festival it's replaced although on slightly different dates of Friday 17th and Saturday 18th August 2018, at Hylands Park, Chelmsford is the new RiZE Festival, with music over four stages.

Celebrating its very first year RiZE Festival brings together an exciting mix of the very best music from classic indie, pop, urban, dance and new upcoming talent across four stages. Hylands Park has a history of hosting world class events and this new local festival promises to bring an incredible weekend of live music plus a huge hub of the best food and drink on the festival circuit.
Confirmed acts include headliners Liam Gallagher, and Stereophonics, along with others including James Bay, Bastille, Craig David presents TS5, Years & Years, Plan B, Rag'n'bone Man, Manic Street Preachers, and many more, with much more still to be announced.
All the acts announced today for the Friday are: Liam Gallagher, James Bay, Craig David, Plan B, Manic Street Preachers, Dave, Circa Waves, Disciples, Tom Grennan, Jacob Banks, Mnek, and Sinead Harnett.
