Alternative rock band Pop Will Eat Itself, Irish-American celtic punk band Flogging Molly, Stereo MC's, and I Am Kloot are amongst the latest names to be confirmed to appear at this year's Beautiful Days, the Levellers own festival which takes place at Escot Park, in the heart of Devon.

Joining them will be be singer/songwriter John Grant, seminal 80's legends The Blockheads, British punk band The Mob (making an exclusive festival appearance), festival favourites Alabama 3 (acoustic), folk-rock musician Teddy Thompson, 9 piece dub/ska outfit Gentleman's Dub Club and Irish band Four Men & A Dog.

Plus former Beautiful South frontman Paul Heaton, The Beat, The Jim Jones Revue, DIvokej Bill, Lau, Salsa Celtica, The Wolf People, Sheelanagig, Rory McLeod, Dave McPherson (INME), mojoFURY, and festival favourites The Fabulous Good Time Party Boys.

Also previously announced are Oysterband who will headline 'Big Session @ Beautiful Days' in the Big Top on the Saturday. They will be joined on the Big Session line-up by Scottish singer-songwriter Eddi Reader, Roddy Woomble, The Bad Shepherds with Ade Edmondson, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Jackie Oates, and The Young Coppers.

The first acts to be announced for The Little Big Top are DJ Friction, Sigma, Jaguar Skills, Trolley Snatcha, and Steve Hillage's System 7 with the rest of the DJ line-up and Scary Dave’s comedy line-up during the daytimes still to be announced.

These acts join the already announced Friday headliners Big Audio Dynamite, Gogol Bordello, plus Saturday headliners Carter USM making their first festival appearance in 14 years and festival founders Levellers who will close the festival on the Sunday night.


There are still more acts to be announced in the coming months for the Main Stage, The Big Top, The Little Big Top and Dirty Davey’s Bandstand plus the festival's Sunday theme.

The ninth Beautiful Days takes place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August 2011. A family music festival with five stages, site art, a huge children's area in the centre of the festival, comedy, theatre, family camping, licensed real ale bars from Otter Brewery & carefully selected food and craft stalls.

An adult weekend camping ticket is priced £110, child (10 to under 16 years of age) weekend camping tickets are £60, children aged 5 to under 10's weekend camping tickets are £30 and under 5's weekend camping tickets are £5. Campervan passes are £35 and car routing/parking passes are £15. There will be no day tickets available.
