Funny but we probably spent more time at the Park than anywhere else, just because we ended up camping just inside Dairy Ground close to Pennards so it was close. Really liked it. The Park stage is just big enough without being too big and I like the natural ampitheatre it has. Easy Star AllStars and Hot Rats were great. BBC Introducing tent was good too, caught some great acts in there.

Do you know I have no idea, and I don't care. The monet someone does not offer me a drink at Glastonbury is the monet I pack up and go home.

I reckon that getting 150,000 people into a rural area is gonna cause problems regardless. I think this year was particularly bad as the good weather made everyone want to go on the Wednesday, coupled with 2 serious accidents on the main routes in from the North and East. Consequently, everyone went the same way at the same time. Fingers crossed, the car park opening Tuesday happens and things go a bit more smoothly this year.

I would go and see these. I actually like a couple of their songs but frankly wouldn't be bothered if they played them or not. A freeform art display involving body paint, mud, wet t-shirts, and various insertions would do for me

I was so excited about my first Glasto this year that I had everything sorted, planned, packed, re-packed about a month in advance. I still managed to forget the bloody Nurofen and Diacalm....schoolboy error that one.

Having been now I realise that it's incredibly well organised and catered for and you don't need to pack your house into a rucksack. Will be very much travelling lighter next year.

By the way MyTwistedWords, is that photo in your avatar of you? If so, have you ever been told you look like Trixie from Human Traffic?

I got a bit of a slating from some this year for wanting to catch the La Roux set. Really liked it, like the album and would make a point of seeing them again. Not sure what peoples opinion of them are on here though.

I'd be chuffed to bits with REM as a headliner. Big fan and never seen them live. I agree that after Monster their stuff tailed off a bit and haven't got/heard Accelerate. I can see some iTunes time in my immediate future though....

Don't know why, but in a bored, dreamlike trance state at work I sudenly thought that I would love to see Portishead but never have. Heard a rumour that they are working on some new material currently.

That implies it's the sort of headliners that you've seen in previous Glastonbury's. Which could therefore be anyone. So, he's actually not confirmed anything (the wily old dog).
