Tis fake- they don't use Instagram
I don't know. It might have been denounced, because it leaked before the agreed time of release. It's a lot of work to do such a video instead of a fake poster....

The Arctic Monkeys posted a (meanwhile deleted) story on Instagram with some numbers, of which people say are the coordinates of festivals as Rock Werchter and BKS:

On a completely different matter but would anyone be able to direct me to any Dutch ticket swap / resale sites where I might be able to enquire about camper van tickets? Travelling from the UK and have a weekend ticket but camper van tickets are sold out. I was at BKS 2016 in my van and had no problem getting a camper van ticket several weeks after they went on sale. Has the size / popularity of the festival increased significantly over the last year or two? Radiohead's fault?! Thanks.
I think the best chances to get a ticket would be here:

I'm very happy with this announcement. It's not as fresh as DTRH, so far, but some amazing acts and also some rare to see goodies (Rodriguez, Four Tet live). I'd still bet Björk will be the Friday headliner.

The National, LCD Soundsystem, Chvrches, Deerhunter, Father John Misty, Four Tet, Future Islands, Rodriguez, Spoon, The Internet, Ty Segall, Tyler, The Creator, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Vince Staples, … And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Aldous Harding, Alex Cameron, Khruangbin, Naaz, Preoccupations, Rex Orange County, Rostam, Shanti Celeste, Superorganism, The Comet Is Coming and Waxahatchee

Guessing it's gonna be The Cure dropping a bunch of dates
Supposedly The Cure is going to play their only European 2018 date at British Summer Time.

They are teasing an announcement on Twitter.
(Translation: Five years of Best Kept Secret highlights look like that. What will your number 1 performance be from BKS 2018? Get ready.)

Massive Attack are now confirmed for Cologne (28.06.) and Berlin (29.06). If they should be confirmed as headliner (like last year), the 30th is still free, but the routing Cologne-Berlin-Nijmegen isn't that good (500km additional KM compared to Berlin-Cologne-Nijmegen).
-
Third headliner could well be Massive Attack which were confirmed last year and had to cancel their show.
(They just confirmed to play at Opener on 05.07.)

If this one is no fake (I still can't imagine The Killers at BKS, but also couldn't imagine Editors) the other, fake looking picture from a couple of days ago might be correct:

On other boards people discuss the possibility of The Cure and Muse as headliner for BKS. I think both don't really fit and both aren't very realistic, but who knows...

Does that offer still stand? I guess I missed it because I have to Google-translate everything DTRH-related!
They said more than 80% of those were sold yesterday, but it looks they are still available:

I didn't expect that, I thought you were involved someway with BKS ahah
I'd say I'm emotionally involved with BKS.
With a decent line up I'll definitely be there for the sixth time - probably just with a lot less people than before.

Due to the very strong first announcement of DTRH, their 30-Euro-off-each-ticket-if-you-buy-10-tickets offer and BKS' usual lack of communication we bought a 10 person group ticket for DTRH.
This doesn't mean a couple of us won't go to BKS, too, but definitely not the 18-20 people we were every year since the beginning.
With a good announcement not later than yesterday probably all of us would have returned to BKS (even though some of us weren't that happy with a couple of issues in the last two years), but with BKS' unpredictable booking philosophy and the doubt that they already would have made an announcement if they would have strong headliners to confirm, several of my friends went the safe way with buying those DTRH tickets (and as far as I could read on several boards and threads, they were not the only ones).

Would anyone really complain about a Beck return (thinking as sub)
I wouldn't. His new stuff is absolutely brilliant.
In a (subjective) perfect BKS world I'd love to have the Allpointseast Sunday lineup at BKS Sunday (or any other day) as well:
Björk
Beck
Father John Misty
Flying Lotus 3D
-
New at Northside: Beck, Diplo, Thundercat, Jimmy Eat World

The first date listed on his site is erroneously listed as Norway on Thursday when it's actually Denmark on Saturday (Northside Festival). Going from Netherlands on Friday, to Denmark for a show the next day and then on to Oslo for Monday actually makes sense in the routing of shows.
Yes, you`re totally right.

Has anyone considered (Sixto) Rodriguez for BKS so far? He has one confirmed European show so far at Sidways in Helsinki at the same weekend of BKS.
Perhaps:
Björk - LCD Soundsystem - The National
Rodriguez - Flying Lotus - Father John Misty - Lorde - A Perfect Circle - The The - Mo - Deerhunter - Sleaford Mods
Best Kept Secret Festival 2018

New (and actually amazing) confirmations for Down The Rabbit Hole (ruling out BKS):
Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals (probably Saturday headliner), Fever Ray, Leon Bridges, MGMT, St. Vincent (who knows: perhaps also performing a couple of songs of their shared album with David Byrne), Curtis Harding, De Jeugd Van Tegenwoording, First Aid Kit, Jungle, The Breeders, Tom Misch, Wende, I-F, Joe Goddard (Hot Chip - live), Kokoko!, Moses Sumney, Muyayo Rif, Palmbomben II
