my mate knows Glasto well and he reckons gate D has had bad for a while now but Gate A hasnt seemed to of changed.
He's gone in through A and walked all the way down past D while his mates are still queing for Gate D.
But it all depends on so many varying factors. I guess one way of doing it would be like a lottery system where some tickets allow festy entrance on tue evening, and the rest Wed. that may split the crowds?? (logisticaly i doubt that would work)

How much of a rip off are they?
Do they sell spirits?
Im trying to pack super light this year, so if i can buy stuff there i will. I dont mind paying more as your paying for convenience but theres a limit!!

Reckon most of the singles would go down pretty well as their opener, bar a few off humbug/ suck it and see. Hopefully they avoid opening on a song from the new album like they did at reading/ leeds, wouldn't set much of an exciting tone.

A friend of mine keeps banging on about how amazing the lock up tents are. He said on the 1st day he hands in a bag with all sorts of crap in - spare socks, waterproofs, sun cream, some spare beers and so on.
He normally camps quite fair out (Bushy groud area...ish) and uses a lock up fairly central. This way if he wants something and is miles away from his tent, he may be able to just get it from the lock up. (like more beer, or a change of socks or what ever)
He's not going this year but it does sound like a good idea which i might try.
Any views?

boiling hot can be as bad as soaking wet.....so as said above, warm, dry with a small breeze and the odd tiny shower would be lovely.
But this is britain....so it will be baking hot the first day, torrential rain the 2nd, gale force winds the 3rd, all 3 combined on the 4th and bit of everything on the last day

You're at a festival with 200,000 others, if they all take your selfish stance of it's ok to have the odd piss and do that just once over the weekend that's a lot of piss. That's why it's not acceptable.
As far as I was aware, the urinals in Amsterdam go into the Drains not straight onto the floor where others might walk, sit, play, eat, relax and whatever else.

I pissed in a cup and threw it once at Reading Festival. The act of throwing the cup introduced a rotating motion to it. One pint of my matured urine sprayed over hundreds of people. That was a glorious day.

My mate keeps going on about one that was in a caravan (well it was the front of caravan). It had a massive cupboard in it that if you opened it, it revealed a door way into another room. But he was SO f**ked up he's not sure if it was real or not!

Just to say if you leave it till late morning on Monday to leave then you may experience a very long delay in getting out. I did it once and will never do it again.
On your question above there is a silent disco. Pretty sure it's location is well known (although I can't be sure as I've been too fucked to know where I was going in the past when I went there). I remember going once and they were playing one bit of music to half the audience and another bit of music to the other. Made for some very interesting viewing as people danced to differing tunes.

Very excited about the season finale of boardwalk empire, the last episode was one of the best penultimate episodes of atv season that I can remember. Not many shows are still getting better once you get into the third season like BE, the only disappointment to me has been the reduced use of Michael Shannon this year, assume he is busy making films.
ive watched it all, started the 3rd seasons and gave up. it looks good, with some good characters but its soooo slow.....and a bit complicated at times. (or is that just me?

Crap venue compared to the old venue, we always went on a pub crawl before gigs and visited some great pubs near the old acadamy.
