Have just recently been tutored in this, but the stuff to buy is 100% Agave. Anything else is mixed with a cheaper alcohol and that's what gives you the nasty time. This works brilliantly and there's no hangover. You can get this in silver or gold in Waitrose for £15.99

Is going to be rammed for NMA at silly o'clock

I know we're playing there etc, but this is set to be the place imho. The Endorse it Festival has a big presence on the Friday night ( being Endorse it Friday), with Ska'd Saturday and Hectic Eclectic on Sunday.
This is hinting at being the sort of late night area that inspired Endorse it in the first place. Wrekon are a top bunch and I cant wait!!

A bit of blatant self promotion -Boot Hill All Stars will be playing the Friday at 22.30 in SHangri-La at The Luner Sea Lounge and on the Saturday at 13.20 on The Bandstand
Pronghorn will be playing on The Blazing Saddle Stage
Guns of Navarone also playing the Lunar Sea Lounge & Blazing Saddle Stage
PNUK - Punk band consisting of Pronghorn, Boot Hill and Guns oN members will be playing The Lunar Sea Lounge on Sunday around 8pm

Half time entertainment will be announced soon - so in the mean time donating a wee bit of bank-holiday excitement in the form of cash would be a tonic for your soul ( or liver which is bound to get a battering this weekend)

I know it is still early but what are the chances of Dreadzone playing? This will be my forth year at Endorset (the longest commitment to a festival I have ever had as it is the best in the land ) and Dreadzone make the festival for me everytime!

This is starting to make me feel a little uncomfrotable really. Is alchemy following BT, or is it getting it's own identity. Is BT following BD in fact? Do you want to go to a few facsimilies of festivals throughout the year or try something new??
mmm

Im missing BT and wish it was on again this weekend!
It was the only festival ive booked this year so if anyone can recommend and similar festivals (music and size wise) then please let me know as I cant wait another 12 months!

We played at the last two and as last year are headlining ( I think) the marquee/beer tent ( although it does look like they may have another stage now). Its a great wee festival, set on the site that Sunrise use at Bruton in Somerset- a great party in a field - no frills, good beer/food/music and everyone lumped in together. They have a very late licence and a real mixture of ages punter wise - not really a family festival ( unless its changed) but our kids were happy just running around with the freedom of an open field.
I think Farmer Eavis lends support in some way, but unsure what and its all for charity.

We did the tunnel thing last year - winding tunnel full of dolls house furniture to give that Alice in W. feeling - the crawled out into a tipi with lots of cushions, transvestites and a boxing ring type affair that was being used as a dancefloor - lots of disco.
I went to sleep.

Thanks for the Saturday night entertainment. Definately my favourite act of a great weekend.

Hi guys,
I´m trying to get together a couple of articles about EIID to post about the web / printed press, ideally leading up to a review of the festie. So I need some help!
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a ) some history behind the festie; b ) why it is popular (I would be happy to get some quotes from regular visitors!); and c ) anyone I could mail a few questions to?
And before anyone gets on at me for being a lazy journo - I won´t get paid for any articles I write. I am just looking for some credibility, and I am sure the promoters would be happy to get some free work done to help promote the festie.
Thanks in advance!

Am getting more than a little excited about this now - its gonna be a top weekend - am sharpening the banjos as I write

Brilliant stuff. If previous Wimbornes are anything to go by ( and I've done a few) you'll need to get to the saturday night one as early as poss - gonna be a great weekend

Pedant's Corner
The line-up is taking shape nicely, but the web-site says 'four stages'
The Desmond Dekker Stage
The Wildcat Stage
The Wig-on Casino
The Bus-Bar Stage
... but the links show
The Purple Purge Stage
The Wildcat Stage
The Wig-on Casino
The Bus-Bar Stage
While you're working on the site, how about How about 5 stages & 5 links
I'll get my anorak ...

A dodgy emo band supporting Hayseed Dixie on one of their tours. A lot of the weird support bands buy into a tour, or are placed by agents.
