  1. If you can take the time, we'd really appreciate some feedback on day tickets.

As of yet we haven't released any, having had only 3 enquiries via email. However some of the EiiD crew think that there may be a demand for them.

So please can you reply if you would like to come on a day ticket.

  2. Boot Hill have played several ( Bearded Theory & Wimborne) and have several more coming up ( Frome Festival this Wednesday, Farmfest later this month & Endorse it in August)

as for getting the gigs, just keep trying and always be polite. I don't know about other programmers, but if I get an arsey email with attitude, I won't book the band in the thought that they will be hassle.

  3. its definetly some bug that's going round - we all had it before hand but it had been up and down the country. Cough lasts for up to 6 weeks. My Wife is now in bed with it post festival. GP didn't appear worried about Hog FLu. There's generally something kicking round post glastonbury. a few years back it was loss of voice - the conditions were ideal of air-born viruses.

If you're worried then get checked out. if not then keep to yourself, plenty fluid, rest and clean eating/drinking.

  4. Its not all holidays in the sun and mixing with pop stars here at Endorse it Towers, we also help with some charity work.

One of our organisers also CHairs The Ebony Horse CLub - see blurb below.

Please can you help us out and follow the link below and vote for The Ebony Horse Club - there's a lot of money up for grabs in the funding and we consider this a very worthwhile project.

    Overview of Project:

Horse riding and horse care and outdoor activities are provided to 60 young people 8-19 years old regularly throughout the year and 60 more take part in intro to horse-riding days. Every year the top 10 riders travel to ride for four days in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. The membership is 80% ethnic minority (mainly Black British, Afro-caribbean, Mixed race, African) and 40% male. In the 13 years the club has taught 250 young people from Coldharbour ward to ride . Young people attending the club for 2-6 years. It has also given hundreds more the opportunity to try riding for the day with their summer projects. Two club members have gone on to train at the Britsh Racing School in Newmarket and then on to work with in horse-racing.We also receive funding and support from Top British rider Emile Faurie who has represented Britain in the Olympics. The club has been very successful in integrating children with autism, ADHD, hyper-activity and challenging behaviour. The club takes children to horse -riding all over London by mini-bus.

  5. What's more you can park your car and still see your windscreen when you return... unlike at the Wimborne Festival last weekend where the Flounder leafletting team were so superbly efficient that it didn't really matter where I hid my car in Wimborne all weekend... I always returned to find an 'Endorse It' flyer neatly positioned under the wipers
  6. Farmfest website 24&25th July.

Its a charity based one that has been going for a number of years now ( 4 I think) on the same site that Sunrise now are using. there's an outdoor stage and beer tent with second stage, a small rave tent, hog roast, toilets/basins lent by Farmer Eavis and loads of fun. We played last year and had a blast. a lot of people from the local area are going this year, as other local festivals have put their prices up too much. tickets are going v well for this one, so be quick.

  7. From efestivals news...

eFestivals can exclusively reveal that Strummerville will be at this summer's Endorse-It In-Dorset.

Strummerville is a registered charity that aims to create new opportunities for aspiring musicians. They will be bringing their new set up, including a hut, new bus, and flags to Sixpenny Handley in the green open setting of Cranborne Chase, Dorset. This is just one of only four UK Festivals this year, Glastonbury, Big Green Gathering, and The Secret Garden being the other three.

The charity will also bring with them, for the first time at any Endorse-It Festival, the Strummerville communal camp fire, which offers sing alongs, musicians, and more.

Set up by the friends and family of Joe Strummer in the year after his death, the charity seeks to reflect Joe's unique contribution to the music world by offering support, resources and performance opportunities to artists who would not normally have access to them.

  9. i too just returned from bt,me and mrs ziggy and ziggy jnr was on the bus roof of malinskis when site got hit let me tell you all it was scary the bus rocked like mad before the roof went saw afew poor ppl who got hurt and were in shock, not a good moment .anyway a great festival and will be back next year...well done to rich and staff,
  10. how much longer are we going to wait till the next acts are announced?

I really, really want to go again but what's on offer so far just doesn't seem to compare to the brilliance of previous years. Still I guess that's inevitable with a smaller crowd and a cheaper ticket.

  11. ( not at home so will be brief) Just got back - everyone is okay, apart from a few ( in the light of things - minor injuries) . mood on site is v positive and the festival spirit is maintained.

The stage was a saddle span job - what is though tto be a small twister ran through the site and hit the stage, which then went over. We were in Malinkeys next to it ( top was ripped off Malinkeys). I don't think anyone could have predicted the weather or consequences. The team at BT are working v hard to keep it all going and doing a sterling job - hat s off to them.

Otherwise we had a blinder and its a great wee festival

  12. Well, from what I gather from the rest of the band it's a tad muddy but all going well ( I'm sat at my Mum & Dad's about 10 miles from the site- warm, well fed, and dry ;p ). Hawkwind played a blinder last night and the weather today looks set to be mainly dry but a bit windy. If you're on your way down there, have a grand one.

  13. I presume that you mean live-in vehicle passes.

Basically you can't park in there unless you have

    a - a live in vehicle

    b - a pass for it

If you want to camp in there it may be possible next to your friends vehicle, but please keep it safe and out of the way, as vehicles are moving around site at all times. Please also be warned that the live-in vehicle area is generally not as comfortable to camp on as the tented camping area.

    Hope that helps

  14. Boot Hill are going to be on around 13.45pm main stage for a bit of Hoedown/Ska/jumpy around type thang. We'll also be around to hand out a few free Endorse it CD's to give you a taste of what's available.

I hear along the grapevine that Bearded Theory are down to their last lot of tickets - this is going to be a great wee festival and supports a really grand cause - if you're dallying over the shall we/shan't we thing, stop - grab the Midlands by the balls and get your tickets whilst you still can.
