Our litterpicking team (John Peel) was the same size as last year, but we usually had the John Peel area cleared a bit earlier as there was quite a bit less litter overall (although Sunday's crowds meant there was A LOT of mess left behind, but it was mostly cans and cups). The Beat Hotel was as grim as ever, with lots of NOS canisters, but what was really lovely was the almost total lack of litter left behind in The Wood - so nice to see people respecting that area.

My phone isn't that reliable but I couldn't take my iwatch so it'll have to do - 77 miles from Monday to Monday including 4 litterpicking shifts and a night of 'exuberant' dancing in Shangri-La.
It's no wonder I'm in pain...

Yup - pharmacy at Williams green is open now. Medical centre open. Yellow shops have basic paracetamol etc but not cheap!

You'll struggle to get in anything bigger than a 3-man I think. It was filling up by 8am......

It was overly hot at 8am. Went out drinking till past 2am last night and didn't need a jumper even then so it's ridiculously hot.
If you're queuing tomorrow please, please prepare for extreme heat and very high UV from very early in the day.

It was far, far too hot earlier in the week. I arrived on Monday and it took me longer to walk from Gate A to the farm with my kit than it took me to get from Oxfordshire to Gate A by public transport! It's really not a long walk, and my kit wasn't heavy really, but the heat was horrible.
When it started to cool down on Wednesday evening it was perfect!
