  1. Stevie in 2010 was an all-time great headline performance for me. I have no interest in repeating it but there will be plenty of new punters who weren't there in 2024 who will now get to experience that.

I'm personally happy with the headliner trio - I've seen them all before and can happily skip all 3 and enjoy some headline slots on other stages which is far less stressful than the Pyramid!

LCD/IDLES/Young Fathers day? They are doing this on the 26th June in Ireland. All 3 have nothing in their schedules late August.

Fingers crossed. The very first APE day I saw LCD / Yeah Yeah Yeahs / Glass Animals / Young Fathers / Superorganism / Confidence Man and it's one of my favourite ever festival days.

  3. Feels far too early to have any accuracy at all but I'll give it a go for fun.

  4. I could see her doing Pyramid Sub (and this is absolutely what I am hoping for). It's true that she's getting headliner slots at most places but it's not too dissimilar to Lizzo's level last year.

  5. Like many, I failed in the coach sale this year. We always travel by coach anyway so the Thursday sale is the obvious choice for us. We've always found the coach sale relatively easy in comparison to the main sale and have only failed once before. This year, none of us got anywhere other than a holding page. Of course, it's all luck and perhaps ours has now ran out!

I'm now incredibly nervous about Sunday.

Biffy Clyro. Still maintain they've got enough in them to absolutely knock the hell out of a Pyramid headline slot, but sadly, that boat has long, longlong since sailed.

One of those ones that Glastonbury should have taken a chance on earlier. They would have absolutely smashed it.

He was due to play V fest in 2008 and didnt show up so everyone started early, I got to the tent to for the artist I wanted to see well in advance to find the tent emptying as it finished ☹️

    Wasn't that Sam Sparro?

Unless Mika did the same that year but I remember Sam Sparro not turning up and all the acts' times being shifted around without anyone being informed.

First time coming for APE this year

Mile End the best tube stop to go to on both the way there and after its done (assuming the tube still runs at that time).

Whats the capacity like? Will it be a pain trying to get served at the bars?

Any decent boozers in and around the park for a couple of beers before we head in?

I've always done Bethnal Green but understand Mile End is a good shout as well.

Capacity/bar queues vary massively depending on the individual show. I've been to some APE days where it's been so undersold that everything has been a breeze. When it's sold out or almost so (like The Strokes last time) then there can be some queues. I think Jungle/Dermot/Haim will be very quiet.

Most of the time, queues for the can bars are almost non-existent. There's one pint bar which gets busy on indie/6music type days but is dead on dance/pop/hip hop days.

I've not been to any of the pubs in the area but there's one on the corner before the park which always looks popular.

If I had been doing something wrong I could understand but I had 1 browser on one device and didn't refresh. So annoyed.

Same situation. 1 browser, 1 device.

In other presales, I couldn't even get in until they had sold out. This time I finally make it to the front at 11.17 to be greeted with an error which admits it is their end and just does not disappear.

Anyone having any luck with axs at the moment or is it broken for everyone?

Looks like once you get that error, you're effectively out of the sale. I tried pressing "back" after 20 mins of refreshing and it says that the queue ID has already been used.
