Camelphat in The Glade on Thursday bored the tits off me. I left after half an hour. The old Glade was way better. I don't see why they felt the need to change it.

It's still there, just under a new name.

ANd yes the Strummerville long drops in the morning were perfect.

Thirded. Long queues for a handful of flushers gradually turning into fetid saunas or a 5 minute walk to three pristine blocks of airy long drops was a no brainer.

The opposite of that for me was Di-Ro, sounded like she was singing karaoke on a hen do in Benidorm, but the crowd were fantastic and lifted the whole gig, I had way more fun there!

One of the best crowds I've ever been a part of. The explosion of joy during Ain't No Mountain High Enough was an all time moment.

The hill was fine and tbh it would probably have more grip in the wet, gravel when dry tends to be worse than when it's wet.

It did. Much better traction on the bits that got wet after the rain.

this needs to be fedback to the fest, the people who plonk themselves down as soon as they hit the pyramid grass, the flags by the other stage.

Needs to be no chair areas, walking/standing lanes to allow better access in and out

It's not unique to Glastonbury. Happens at gig venues all over the country.

Libertines were pretty poor, but I always think the opening slot is a bit cursed. Crowd need a bit more coffee or booze in them to get going at that time of day.

Hehe - we were deliberately only there for 15 minutes on the way to see Ziggy Marley. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

Saw Sedef Adasi on Thursday night, who was great though.

I was there! It was great!

The Saorise, Shanti, Moxie, Peach, Cinthie takeover for sunrise at Genosys Sound system was a Glasto moment that'll live long in the memory. The mixing, track selection, sun, rain and that incredible rainbow over the Downlow was just breathtaking.

I was also there! It was also great!

Please increase the price of sticklinch to cover more showers etc... They were amazing, but waking at 7 to skip queues was no fun, neither was the length of the queues from 8 onwards...

The addition of a collapsible basin and a flannel to my gear this year was a game-changer.

In my top 3 of the weekend, strong contender for best thing I saw. Pigsx7 into that was spot on

Took a wee break for Pig and the lads after being right in the thick of it for Thrill Collins, Beans on Toast and Kae Tempest. But hung around afterwards for Pongo which was also ace. One of the best Thursday nights I've had.

According to Glasto Chat on FB it was hypothermia - poor girl had been there all day and ended up in medical tent for the set. Heartbreaking.

Particularly as I was roasting hot in that crowd.

Yeah - it wasn't particularly nippy.  Maybe someone misheard (diabetic) hypoglycaemia?

It really wasn't that bad at all, this thread makes it sound horrendous, it wasnt. When it's muddy it's actually not as bad because people don't move about as much and there are much less people sitting on the ground near stages etc.

Agree with this. Or sheltering in tents.
