and nobodies computer will be working on easter sunday?

This is excellent news, Arcadia has been a fantastic addition to the site (hence the great feedback ME speaks of) so more of the same has got to be a good thing.

This is our campsite just before the last job of taking the gazebo down and packing it up.
By the time we left all that remained was a pile of unused firewood and some rubbish & recycling bags (all fully sorted/separated of course). I even tidied up the remains of two camps next to us (They were pretty good actually, all I really did was consolidate all the rubbish and recycling). Before we left I made everyone walk in a line across where we had camped, picking up butts, wet wipes, roll-up filters etc.

Got confused a bit as sure 99 was a rentastage year before current Pyramid
-
And me, though I don't recall seeing an option to buy one,
-
got two deposits down, but i forgot cap parking - DOH
-
That was all a bit easy. 3 tickets bought by 9:01am. Only a couple of refreshes required - kinda takes some of the fun out of it

Another case of the fan hitting the shit.

Does anyone fancy creating a Facebook group encouraging them to stay split? I'd join that. Would be amusing to get more members than the 'please don't split' group.

I've a feeling you're going to get a resounding 'Glasto is best' from this forum.
I've not been to Download or R/L but have been to V a few times and Glasto is defo better.

Campervan tickets were £50 this year I think. All this info can be found on The Official Site (TOS)
-
It highlighted the I Love Sausages flag too...what WAS that all about?
-
I suspect the BBC puts a fair amount of cash Glasto's way and if they want decent pictures for their coverage, it's not unreasonable they might want some control over the number of flags to be exercised - the alternative being that we the punters make up for the shortfall in income through the price of the ticket/prices on site.

Oh dear, this "Stay-cation" lark is proving very popular this year...
-
There are loads of campsites around these parts (Norfolk) - they can't all be full. Kelling Heath is very nice (but at the top end of the price bracket), for a cheaper option, try Breck Farm. Both are in North Norfolk, not too far from the beach (15min drive)

Where are you thinking, roughly?
-
I don't mind a few flags but when there are loads of them, you can't see the performer on satge

Going back to the camping equipment being left on site...
They were talking on Simon Mayo's show this evening about how people should go camping more and that there are many cheap tents to be had etc. Also mentioned taking them to festivals... So I thought I'd text in with the YouTube video in mind and whaddya know, he only read it out!

Mine can be found here
I was dressed as a monkey for my stag night on Saturday night - did anyone have their picture taken with me? Plenty of people did so it would be interesting to see if any of them were on here.

Left the campsite at 3pm, started the car engine at 4pm (in West 25) and were on tarmac by 4:15pm. A little congestion in Glastonbury town and then on the A37 as we approached Bristol but we turned into a back road and relied on the SatNav. Back home in Norwich after dropping a few people off on the way at 11:30pm Probably the easiest Glasto exit ever for us. As far as I could tell the organisation in the car parks was much better than in previous years, but by the sounds of others there was still some room for improvement.

Congratulations all involved, shame the traffic prevented me from seeing any of it

My friends and I all got ours this morning!
